Presidency 5

While there are no signs yet that the Ron Paul 2012 campaign is organizing to win the Presidency 5 straw poll, according to this article, neither is any other campaign: http://www.tampabay.com/news/politi...cy-5-stirs-up-excitement-8212-sort-of/1169709 This is good news if we the grassroots can organize a get out the vote effort ourselves before the June 10 deadline to register online at http://www.presidency5.com .

Yeah, this seems like a good one to focus on to me. For GOTV, were you still looking at renting vans? Are you promoting ronpaulrides.com for this?

Here is the facebook ad I've been running since you started posting about this:

1,410 clicks so far on about 1 million impressions. Not sure how many people actually followed through and registered from that.

We're not that far ahead yet. The urgent issue right now is getting as many Ron Paul supporters registered online (which requires zero commitment) before the June 10 deadline. The straw poll is essentially won or lost on June 10.

By the way, your Facebook ad was an awesome idea--I had no idea that was possible!

I wasn't around for it, but how what did C4L do for the CPAC polls? That must've worked pretty well.

That's a very different kind of straw poll. Anyone whosoever can buy a ticket and vote at CPAC and doing so requires a lot less dedication by the voters. C4L and YAL sent emails to members nationwide and subsidized tickets and lodging.

I don't see why C4L and YAL couldn't send emails to all Florida members urging them to register for Presidency 5 by June 10. They wouldn't be explicitly or even implicitly supporting a particular candidate, just encouraging participation in their county GOPs. I don't know why this hasn't happened yet.

Nice I just emailed the c4l people too. All theyd have to do is send out a couple of emails and Rons numbers would jump big time at this thing.

I don't see anything in my inbox on C4L from you. I am a Regional Coordinator in Floirda.

I will send out another email this week with the deadline. I will update RonPaulFlorida.com and make calls to the other organizers across the state stressing the importance of this.

didnt use the cfl interface i emailed every one of the meetup coordinators of the cfl groups on matt's freedom atlas

June 10th, 2011 is very close by we don't want people to only find out a day after the Registration Deadline or something like that. Florida has thousands of RP supporters so I hope all the FL RP supporters get organized now!

FL RP supporters should at least create a discussion thread on their meetup group forum or try to create a meetup to discuss the Presidency 5 or try something to notify all members in all of the FL Ron Paul meetup groups

I signed up even though I am in the Army and Stationed in GA. I intend to call them up and give them a hard time. If I can pay my property taxes from here I can sure as hell win a drawing. And I was already planning on attending the debate in SEP.
