Our liberty movement has suffered many defeats this past year on many levels. We did win some small battles and I believe turned quite a few heads. The beautiful thing about our movement is that once you get involved and "woken up" its hard to sit back down.

I believe we are all going to take a breather and frankly we deserve it.

The war continues for our liberties and freedoms. I urge you all now to start perparing for the coming battles in 2010 and 2012. Position your time and finances now. We owe it to ourselves to continue this fight and for parents like myself we owe it to our children.

Me and my wife are preparing a fund for 2012 to be able to donate to whoever we choose to represent us in the liberty movement to the fullest extent. It is roughly $130 for both of us per month so that we can max out at $4600 in Nov 2011. We are also planning on taking off work a week before the Iowa primaries to travel (from Texas) to go campaign.

My prayer is you all search your own personal life and how you can be ready to aid our movement and provide leadership to the thousands we will "awaken" during the next go around. We will all be needed.

Never give up,

I probably won't vote, but I'll help you people who choose to stay in the system as best I can. :D

Must be good shit, if he still thinks Huckabee/Palin 2008 can win :)

i hope he is being sarcastic.

Anyway I dont think the Huckster likes Palin. Look at the way he went after Ron, Rudy, Fred and Mitt in his book. I have a feeling the top aides that made Palin look like fool are former mitt/huck aides looking for a job in 2012.

Huckabee & Palin are neocons just like bush. They will say anything to get the christian vote, just like bush did. Both of them were for staying in Iraq & supporting Isreal & Georgia. I won't be fooled again by someone claiming to be christian & supporting unprovoked war.

I am for Huckabee/Palin 2008. I intend to start now..both are VERY libertarian leaning and MORAL. tones

Hucksterbee, moral? Doesn't he support violent aggression against other people through war, taxation, and other coercive institutions?

As for Palin, she's just neocon eye-candy with no substance, intellect, or depth. That woman makes Dan Quayle look like Adlai Stevenson!

That's great and all, but if we just wait until 2012, hoping for a different outcome, we are are going to be sadly disappointed.

Are you thinking that the only way for us to succeed is from the federal level? If so, why? Aren't you forgetting about state and local government?

... back on topic... (since anyone here who says they're going to get behind a Huckabee/Palin ticket is clearly just fucking with us) ......

I've thought about this too - that if there were more people canvassing or something in the early primary states then maybe the outcome would have been different. The problem is most people have made up their mind by the last week because the media has deluged them with who the two "front runners" are - so they know they're supposed to pick between those two.

I've pondered this though.. what would have happened if there had been a rally in Iowa about a month prior to the caucus and 12,000 had shown up? It would have been very difficult for the media to say that Ron Paul had very little support. i.e. instead of having the "Rally for the Republic" at the end... have it at the beginning. If we started planning in 2010 to have the Rally, donated towards it, lined up speakers, started making buzz about it, put the info out (date, time, location) all over... it just might work.

And the beauty is - we could invite more than just one candidate. Invite all of them and see what fun ensues.
