No one said that voting irregularities and potential fraud hasn't occurred. What has happened may very well have been deliberate and orchestrated by the party or certain campaigns. That the results were not really influenced though, makes that point insignificant though. Every candidate does everything in his power to prevent those irregularities from happening. They will occur, but checks and balances in place should prevent them from happening on a wide enough scale to be significant.
How can this be stated when there are missing ballets and there hasn't been a word from the campaign about it? Clearly they didn't have everything covered or else they would have been on the tv showing the video footage/proof of the numbers from the missing prescient to clear up the confusion for Iowans. It just isn't possible to be on top of everything, nor did I expect them to. What's more likely the case is that they didn't have a spy at every location to verify the votes and thus were screwed out of an unknown number of votes, but that they ultimately didn't see the need to make a fuss about it and put more emphasis on the plan of having their people stay behind to become delegates. And I don't have a problem with that since getting the delegates are what matters the most. The campaign has stated numerous times that they have that covered.
I think people are focused on the wrong thing, you think by trying to prevent people from saying dumb things or true things that might be interpretted wrong will help better Rons image?
Whats hurting our Image is the Media going out of there way to report anything viewed as abnormal about Ron Paul or his supporters to tarnish His name.Yes they report bad stuff about others but not to the degree they do with Ron.
Do you hear any stories about other candidates supporters doing dumb things or about Types of flights other Candidates take? The bill Oreilly thing was a great examplse,He goes out of his way to try to make the association with Ron and child molestors.Do they ask any other candidate about 3rd party runs? How many times has a Youtube poster made national news for any other candidate.I could find tons of offensive things said about Paul on Youtube but the media doesnt report that?
I could go on and on.The obvious bias in the media is the problem. The only thing i know to do is support those in the media who stand up for Rons defense like Judge Napolitano,Jason Lewis,Jerry Doyle ,Benn Swann ect
The caucus vote in Iowa is a straw poll. Everybody that's into politics knows this. Why would Santorum or Romney spend money and take the risk to rig a vote that doesn't really matter? Sure, public perception is good but look at santorum and his drop in popularity within days after Iowa. This should be true, but it isn't. When votes are tallied in "secret locations", what can the campaigns really do to verify the vote? During that time, literally anything could have happened. When there is no paper trail with electronic voting machines and people are made to watch in rooms where they can't actually see the tallies, how are they supposed to verify the numbers?
