PPP South Carolina: Paul up 6 points

Easy. Don't tell them its a Republican Primary while driving them to the polls. Let the Dems know they have these choices:

1. An uber rich white guy who ties his dog to the roof of his car
2. A guy who tried to impeach Bill Clinton
3. Guy who voted in lockstep with George W. Bush
4. Ron Paul

Ron voted to impeach Clinton, but it wasn't for the same reason everyone else did.

Man 10% of mitt supports uncomfortable with a Mormon president. 16% won't vote for someone who supported an individual mandate. WTF is wrong the people in this state?

The upside is a few well-done ads could kill Romney in SC.

Great that we're gaining. I just hope we can get above 20% in the end. But which is ultimately a better outcome for us in regards to SC? A Romney win or Gingrich win? Seems like a Gingrich win could stall the sense that Romney is inevitable and buy us some time for the upcoming caucuses.

people voting on electibility... its like they will vote for a cow if the cow has a better electibility to beat Obama.

Ron Paul tried to impeach Clinton too. Intellectually dishonest to use the above persuasion tactic.

It should be noted that PPP massively underestimated us in NH. They thought Huntsman might overtake Paul, and yet we beat him by 7%

Another bright spot is Romney favorability. It's down 10% since last week. These tend to move faster than actual poll numbers. This indicates to me that though griches attacks haven't had an effect YET, they will.

Most discouraging is RP's favorability numbers, and his crushing defeat in a Paul v. Romney election.

All of the negative Nancies need to take a chill pill and take a step back to look at the big picture. Dr. Paul gained 6 points in less than 6 days and there is no sign him slowing down. At this rate he could very possibly win or be a close second. It is already game over for the establishment and anyone who tries to dismiss this huge gain in such a short amount of time is parroting status quo propaganda. We are not going anywhere no matter how much you try to discourage us. We have already won the hearts and minds of millions of Americans who will never go back to sleep nor can they be made to.

This is the polling site I have bookmarked:
http://elections.nytimes.com/2012/fivethirtyeight/primaries/south-carolina

They seemed pretty accurate for Iowa and NH, and they have Paul beating santorum significantly. I just hope that Paul can get the word out on Gingrich's poor family history. That should be a huge weak spot since Gingrich apparently has 40% of the evangelical vote according to the PPP. I really fear a Gingrich second far more than a santorum or huntsman second since Gingrich is actually a threat nationally.

Independents and Democrats are included.

Breakdown:

Democrat 3%
Independent/Other 17%
Republican 80%

I'm not great and finding old stats, but can anyone find something that gives us a breakdown of voter turnout in 08? Maybe we can extrapolate an expected result based on these new numbers?
