PPP Poll: Minnesota, Sun & Mon:

Areas outside of Rochester, Mpls/St Paul, Duluth, Mankato are voting for Santorum. PPP is sampling the entire state.

Get the major cities to the polls and we have a fair shot at this.

I don't want to get too much into this, but don't blame Christianity, blame the butchering and misinterpretation of Christianity and its disfigurement into modern phariseeism. That is not what it is, that's only what people who don't understand grace think it is.

This.

Colorado is closed to republicans and registration ended in early December. This is why Paul will not do well here. We can't get independents or young people to register late. Nevertheless I've been working to achieve whatever we can get.

On a separate note, I'm curious what do people do that want to attend but work at 7pm? I imagine this hits the demographic of younger normal people that would support Paul rather than the rich Romney backers.

Thanks a bunch for doing what you can to GOTV. I was referring to MN though. There, we can get a ton of last minute support if we can get the vote out. As someone said, 1% may be as few as 50 votes. Think about some of the close races we've had. If anyone is in MN, you might be able to personally up the total by half a percent or so ;)

Indeed, mainline Christianity has been hijacked and distorted by the religious industrial complex, aka the Rick Warrens, the T.V. evangelicals and all the rest of it. A vast majority of the American people have been politically and religiously bamboozled to the point of booing the Golden Rule.

Ron Paul is the model Christian, not Santorum. Ron doesn't force his religious views onto anyone else, or grandstand them and say "Look how wonderfully Christian I am." He exemplifies his faith through example and behavior.

Christianity was much better in the past... Catholic Rome, The Crusades, The Inquisitions. If only modern Christianity would return to form.

Those damn religious zealots...Politics hasn't changed a bit. It's all based on identity and not principle. The blacks vote for blacks, the Christians vote for the Christian, the special interests vote for the empty suits...all rationality gets lost. Oh, cannot forget the war mongers vote for the biggest war monger etc..

Except that Santorum is a Catholic, and Ron Paul is the only Evangelical Christian in the race.

Unfortunately, most people don't seem to even be aware of this and Doug Wead is the only one who ever points it out.

It's been being distorted/misunderstood and misused since the beginning. A good portion of Paul's letters are basically arguments against various perversions of the gospel going on in the church he's writing to.

What you are referring to is no more actual Christianity than North Korea is a "Democratic Republic" ;)

Of course the truth is there if you look into it for yourself, but most people blindly rely on what their pastor or some televangelist is telling them, instead of being like the Bereans (google it).

Think further back, say first couple of centuries. :)

So we're talking about 4% of the existence of Christianity? At a certain point, you have to realize that it's bullshit.

No, there's always been both true Christianity (defined as in keeping with the Apostolic tradition) and counterfeit versions of it.

He received a couple million dollars a few days ago.

Last I heard, it's the Paul campaign that's broke. :(

Sadly this is true. Our enthusiasm has dried up. We have 2 million left on hand. If we don't start at least getting 2nd place in some upcoming states we will have a very difficult time.

CNN and others really robbed us in Iowa with that fakey bogus Santorum surge BS. Nobody was attending his speaking events. That should have been ours. I feel the media literally stole from our pockets because the campaign poured a lot in there.

Government regulations could be costing me $10,000 in 24 hours. I'm a full Paul supporter and will be voting for him, but from a monetary standpoint I like the odds on intrade for Santorum to upset Romney in Colorado. $210 would profit $9,979. I was going to buy shares immediately but credit cards from the US cannot be processed. A wire transfer would take two days. Thanks government regulations... Now I hope Santorum doesn't pull the upset so I'll feel better.

And I know the odds will go down as the day go on, so if I wanted to take a quick profit I could do that.

What's ridiculous to me is that people think Santorum is remotely electable. Santorum is as repulsive to the Democrats and Independents as, say, Barney Frank would be to the people voting for Santorum.

You've got zero crossover. Next to no Independents. Zero chance in the general... less than Newt, and that's saying something.

I don't even know how people listen to him talking about jihadists in Cuba and South America without straight up laughing... if not for the fact that he's an actual candidate. I mean, seriously, it's embarrassing to me as an American that other countries tuning in think he in any war represents us.

I think these numbers are wrong. Where do you get them from? I still see PPP showing 33% for Santorum etc..
