I'm glad the caucus is on March 17th, Saint Patrick's day. Means the older folks will be at the parades in the bigger counties such as Jackson, St. Charles, St. Louis, Clay. My family is preparing to hold signs outside the primary locations here in North Kansas City Feb 7th that remind Paul supporters about March 17th.
Lot of talk about MO, any of you been to St Louis Airport? My wife is from St Louis and we visit twice a year and I hate every single trip through there. The people at the airport really do believe that there is a jihadist in every suitcase. I don't even think the Israelis are as nazi about security as St Louis Lambert. And I know plenty of people in St Louis that won't leave the country because they are terrified of what they may find (and most of these are educated people). Oh and did I forget to mention that every single channel on the AM dial is some crazy guy screaming about Jesus or the Lord of the end of times. I really don't think MO is fertile ground for Ron Paul. However my younger brother in law has a "Ron Paul is my homeboy" t-shirt and loves to give Ron Paul lectures at family outings, and my mother in law is finally convinced of voting for him. Yet my FOX watching father in law will NEVER vote for Ron Paul because he is dangerous! Oh and did I mention he has supported, Cain, Perry, Santorum, Gingrich, Romney, back to Gingrich and I haven't spoken to him in a couple of weeks so not sure what his flavor of the week is. At least he helps me make sense of the spikes in the polls!
