PPP Missouri Tweets (Poll due out 01/31)

This is why winning matters. You can talk all day long about delegate strategies and sleeper cells and brokered conventions, but wins matter.

Yep. No state wins, no delegates, and hell, there is a prerequisite of 5 states needing to be won to be nominated. Ron and his crew really got his work cut out for him right now.

Santorum and Gingrich both beat Romney 1 on 1 in Ohio and Missouri. One will have to drop out if Mitt's going to be stopped

By the way they keep tweeting, it seems Ron is at the "--" spot in the polls...christ

Are they even including Ron in their polls?

The grassroots aren't going to reach 300 million people. Its the national campaign that creates the real buzz. Unfortunately they seem to have inexplicably gone into hibernation after New Hampshire. How about some new ads that clear up the MSM misconceptions about Dr. Paul's foreign policy, or electability? How about a major policy announcement? How about going on the offensive?

The campaign was really banking on winning Iowa – but got steamrolled by the Frothy one.

They have to win a state really soon… crossing my fingers for Maine.

I'm glad the caucus is on March 17th, Saint Patrick's day. Means the older folks will be at the parades in the bigger counties such as Jackson, St. Charles, St. Louis, Clay. My family is preparing to hold signs outside the primary locations here in North Kansas City Feb 7th that remind Paul supporters about March 17th.

And the younger folks will be at parties and bars getting hammered...

Anyone notice that the polls seem to be trickling out lately? Only in FL does it seem they are actively polling. I remember having a better idea of how we were doing a few weeks out in 08.

Who here has good links or contacts to find out all the details on locations an rules for the MO caucus?

I need info on 3 different counties, where I have people willing to caucus.

I live in Ohio and I can't tell you the name of a single supporter of a candidate other that Paul. Not one. I'm sure there are some, but they seem to not care enough to talk about it on Facebook or put signs in their yards or at the very least have a bumper sticker.

That is what i don't get. People say this all the time, yet the polls show the opposite. All the sign waves, parades, and get-togethers never seem to amount to any momentum in the polls, which leads me to believe the MSM is fudging them in order to distort public perception.

No, it just means that Paul supporters are more excited about their candidate than the supporters of other candidates. Quality does not beat quantity in the voting process.

PPP were the first poll to "surge" Ron in Iowa (http://unlikelyvoter.com/2011/12/19/debunking-ppp-in-iowa/). They were also the first to surge Santorum over the weekend before the caucus.

PPP also went out of their way to surge/push Huntsman in NH... being pretty much the only poll to show him leading Ron during the last few days ("Huntsman has momentum!11!")... they also surged Santorum past Paul in SC.

I've always steered clear of poll conspiracies... but PPP has been out in front trying to drive the narrative this entire election and never has it been to Ron's benefit.

Think about it... what was beneficial about their early surge of Ron in Iowa? All we got was about 2 days of "wow, Ron Paul is leading in Iowa" followed by 2 weeks of non-stop newsletter coverage. No other polls were showing Ron in 1st (or surging for that matter).

Long story short... fuck PPP.

PPP doesn't "surge" anyone, they reflect the actual polling. Too many conspiracy theories here.

It's pretty sad when the only people making sense in some of these threads are peple who signed up this month. +rep to you
