PPP Minnesota:

Reasons? If we hope for a brokered convention we need wins to be traded back and forth among all four candidates for as long as possible. The more Romney wins the more it becomes inevitable in the minds of the voters. You also run the risk of Newt and Santorum dropping out and uniting behind Romney for the purpose of part unity. I am all for going one on one with Romney, but was much more ready for that post NH, than post NV

I don't want Santorum getting more than he is going to get tomorrow from Missouri and Colorado. He will have all of the beauty contest no other candidate put any time into, and will have strong showings in the other states tomorrow. I don't want to feed that. He is more likely to take voters Ron could get, looking for a 'conservative' than Romney is.

It's a great idea, but who is coordinating it? You can't just drive around town looking for people to take to the polls. They would need lists.

Actually you can. I drove up from Texas to the Iowa Straw Poll in 07' and went out into a street nearby with a sign and got a few people to come in and vote for Paul the last hour after speeches were over. Had free tickets which helped and walked them to the polling building. Ground game works but it's one voter at a time.

Wtf is up with Santorum lately? MSM must sense Gingrich is failing and therefore they must push Frothy onto us to maintain that Paul is "unelectable"

He got a pretty solid love-fest from CNN tonight from what I saw. Disgusting, but we really need to hit the phones hard tomorrow.

Gingrich's money supply is beginning to dry up except for his billionaire buddy who is now facing indictment for mafia ties and prostitution from the SEC and DOJ.

You do realize though that the more Romney wins, the chances we have at winning or any sort of Plan B strategy get slimmer. If Romney sweeps the caucuses, he the chances of him sweeping Super Tuesday are huge.

Wow that is great. Does anyone know though if the campaign is doing anything with getting voters to the polls?

Even that dude is a softie, since he said he would go on to finance Romney if Gingrich fails.

We can not from here on out depend on the campaign for ANYTHING. The grassroots MUST take ownership of this. NV proved that and it was costly.

They've been propping Santorum all weekend, we've got to him him hard, when is the caucus? Can we call radio shows tomorrow?

Well you and I are too far away to organize it, so hopefully someone has taken responsibility for this.

Second is definitely possible with the GOTV. Santorum, if he wins Minnesota and Missouri tomorrow night, as PPP is predicting will become the mainstream media darling and their conservative alternative to Romney. Santorum will be truly anointed!!

Gingrich really is fading fast....the next debate is still 16 days away for him to try and raise himself from the dead once again!

It finally may be too late for him.

I hope there was a wake-up call in MN, but NV actually was a valuable lesson and early in the game to fix it. Hopefully now the grassroots in other states will now take this GOTV seriously and like I said, the grassroots MUST take ownership because the campaign failed miserably and they quite frankly can't be trusted with a simple task. Grassroots with discipline and co-ordination can successfully get this done.

A strong showing for Santorum is great. And the 35% of people saying they will change their minds is also great because they likely aren't coming from the Paul camp. Keeping the spread of delegates even will put a stop to Romney's momentum and also make it harder for him to take a definitive lead.

They really sent that out? That seems like they are onto the media/establishment manipulation to create fake surges and such.

lol, I wish! That was just me imagining what the PPP peeps were saying to each other while the poll results came in.

Latest MN PPP:

It's all about turnout. The polls are irrelevant. We have enough total supporters in the state to win. We just have to show up.
