PPP Michigan

I'm guessing Santorum 25-29%, Romney 23-27%, Paul 17-21%, and Gingrich 13-18%. This is a shot in the dark and I haven't seen a single Michigan poll out yet. I do have a few friends in Michigan though and things don't sound *terrible* for Paul, but they don't sound great either.

Only thing better than a Paul win is a Santorum win, he's got little money, little ground game, but will detract from the other two. I think a brokered convention is best case for us at this point.

Those are weird P's

Yes, my keyboard input is acting retarded and keeps on switching to Mandarin, so I have to type in the English text version of Chinese input.

Despite what people on here think, Santorum staying in longer helps us. Santorum can not get ANY delegates in the caucus states and Romney will not have enough to ensure the nomination. We'll have a brokered convention and then Romney will have to cave to Ron Paul because Santorum and Gingrich are too polarizing for the general election.

As others point out, Santorum staying in is great news. The moneyed interests lined up behind Romney will go into a frenzy to make sure their Mr. Slick stays in front of the line to drive their gravy train.

A brokered convention with total chaos between the warring GOP factions -- the country clubbers, the theocrats, the Beltway insiders, and the people with their priorities straight (us) -- looks like a certainly. Pop some popcorn.

Santorum 39, Romney 24, Paul 12, Gingrich 11

Wow. I was on with Romney only. That sucks.

You know, we've all been wanting 1 vs 1 with Romney.

We might do better 1vs1 on Santorum.
There is a segment of Republicans who are very much anti evangelical. Santorum doesn't have a small government record and I don't think he is "electable" vs Obama. Not to mention missing the ballot in places.

The scariest thing: the 67/23 favorables.

The man who comes off, especially in debates, as a smarmy know-it-all full of anger and hostility for those who aren't in lockstep with his theocratic view of the world has a 67% favorable.

The man who has openly endorsed murdering people he sees as dangerous, whether foreign or domestic.

The man who openly said the pursuit of happiness is un-American and selfish.

The man who openly espouses racist and sexist ideas.

The man who said individualism is bad, and basically that one shouldn't be able to have a good time in the bedroom without emailing Janet Napolitano or the National Morality Czar for permission.

Who are these people?

We need to reach out to the Muslims there. They should be our strongest card we can play there.

Completely OT but I would be super paranoid of a trojan/backdoor if my keyboard layout kept changing to chinese, unless you actually use that intentionally on occasion

Santorum scares me the most. He thinks the government should tell people how to live, thinks that jihadists are lurking in every dark corner and that requires us to give up our Constitutionally guaranteed freedom and liberty. He attacks anyone that doesn't agree with his violent, theocratic, statist point of view. I guarantee, if he is elected, within ONE year we will be at war with Iran and ratcheting up rhetoric against the "jihadists" in Venezuela and Cuba. The man will bankrupt this nation with his reckless spending while degrading the Constitutional protections until nothing is left.

He's a veritable one-man wrecking ball... Erm, one-douche wrecking ball. Not all Catholics are like Santorum, right? Someone please say yes... I'm loosing faith in Christians.

Gingrich openly said he would allow terrorist attacks to get through now and then to 'remind people we're under threat'.
