PPP is Slowly Leaking Their Post-Debate Polls - Ron Paul did not lose any ground in Iowa

YESSSSSS Last night scared me, not because of what Paul said but how the media just jumped on him afterward and insisted he was going to lose ground :(

The media insisted we were not in a recession while we were in one.
The media insisted we were not in a housing bubble while it was collapsing.
The media insisted Saddam Hussein had Weapons of mass destruction.
The media insists they can pick the presidents or influence the outcome, we are showing that they are wrong AGAIN.

I have to wonder when that polling was done. Because if it was from a couple of days then the debate isn't exactly fully factored since it would include many pre-debate days, so it doesn't really show the entire affect.... Before getting so excited we really need to see the post-debate polling results only to see if we lost ground or not.

I really hope this poll was just like for today, so post-debate... and if we didn't lose ground then hell yeah!!!!

Not being pessimistic, just saying put the poll in context. We need a truly 'post-debate' poll to see where he truly stands.

It was from today.

ppppolls PublicPolicyPolling
We have the trifecta going in the field tonight- national, IA, NH GOP polls. Should be very interesting after last night

guys, even if we take a small dip after the debate (and im NOT saying we will) its important to not get too high or too low. We've come a long way and we are winning this thing! Stay the course and keep a level head.

HERE'S THE REPORT! BACHMANN WAS LYING; PAUL WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!!! Confirms my opinion that he is the ONLY candidate who speaks the truth. I just cannot believe a word the rest have to say.

http://www.iaea.org/newscenter/news/2011/iran-resolution.html
I read it. The report essentially says that they were definitely trying to make a bomb prior to 2003. They're not sure about recently, but they say that Iran still seems to be trying to create a covert supply chain for nuclear material, which is a bit of a yellow flag.

But certainly no proof that they're trying to make a bomb, and they've been allowing IAEA to inspect facilities.

Thank god. It also looks like the media is not jumping on him for it as much as I worried.

It's better than that. They are jumping on him, but at least 20% of Iowan republicans are intelligent enough that they won't be swayed by talking head lies and half-truths.

The dinosaur media is gradually losing their hold on america, and it's about d@#$ time.

I give props to the net... The newer generation and the generation after main news source really is the net. Media will eventually lose influence. But we can't wait that long. We're goin' to win even if Hannity has to shit his pants.

good news thanks. They will do polling fri, sat, sun and poll released monday I assume?

I was not worried one bit about Ron slipping in the polls from last night.

Anyone who cares about elections or politics already knew damn well that Ron is anti-war.

People here get so worried about neomedia.

ATTENTION

Latest Tweet:

Newt this weekend: national lead fading, nowhere close in NH, quite possibly down to 3rd in Iowa. #mittisnextinline

Mitt is clearly surging, Newt is falling. We need to shift our focus against Romney in Iowa. If Romney wins Iowa, he's gonna be damn hard to stop in New Hampshire.

I think more likely Ron is going to top the IA PPP poll with Romney 2nd, Newt 3rd. NH will probably be Romney, Ron 2nd and bold prediction Huntsman 3rd.

A poll with Ron leading IA will be front page news everywhere.

Good news. I certainly hope that I end up being wrong about last night's debate.

Of course you're wrong. There is absolutely nothing Ron Paul said that should hurt him. What did you think would do that? His comments about the report having no evidence? I don't get how that could be a big deal.

Beside, you're one of those people that is always poo-pooing the campaign and Ron Paul for what he says and what they do. It's turned out prett well so far despite the doom and gloom posts of people like you saying RP would have to modernize and conform or he would lose for sure with all this "mark my words" humdrum and all that rot. You were always wrong about this.

You were also telling everyone that Ron wasn't going to win up until the nice Iowa poll came out. Now you're going to campaign for him in Iowa. Some people here just have better insight than others.

Guys, let's just take it down a notch and focus the fighting on the other candidates. This is great news for RP regardless of who predicted what.

Talking about non-neocons, if you observe reddit you'll see that Ron Paul got a LOT of support due to what he said in the debate. It really highlighted the fact that he's the only sane person amongst all the candidates. Besides, I don't know what people are fretting about. RP's frustration actually made him speak quite well.

well, you need to understand reddit is a liberal bastion of nanny state sucklings.. so I wouldn't call Ron's surge there overly beneficial outside of moneybombs perhaps. Most can't vote in primaries, for Ron.
