PPP is Slowly Leaking Their Post-Debate Polls - Ron Paul did not lose any ground in Iowa

Of course you're wrong. There is absolutely nothing Ron Paul said that should hurt him. What did you think would do that? His comments about the report having no evidence? I don't get how that could be a big deal.

Beside, you're one of those people that is always poo-pooing the campaign and Ron Paul for what he says and what they do. It's turned out prett well so far despite the doom and gloom posts of people like you saying RP would have to modernize and conform or he would lose for sure with all this "mark my words" humdrum and all that rot. You were always wrong about this.

We still have to see how it plays out. The thing that Ron said that I thought would hurt him wasn't about Iran. It's when he started talking about "the United States killing 500,000 Muslims in Iraq." I thought that may come across as being very offensive to some people. There's some people who think that it comes across as "blaming America," and I just think that Ron should stay as far away from that as possible. I don't believe that Ron should change his position on foreign policy issues, just explain it differently.

We are locked and reloaded w/3.5 mil. Just waiting for the results so we know which way to aim the barrel :toady:.

The way I am reading it, since they tweeted:

Means Ron is in FIRST by a few points ahead of Romney in second and Newt in third.

It means that Ron was first in their first day of polling. But they still poll today and tomorrow.

You saw and noted how he referenced the CIA in his "reasons" they attack us rant at the debate, right?

Ouch. His make-or-break state, really the only one state he's registering at all in the polls, and he's maybe at 10%-13%?

Better put some ice on that one.

the problem for huntsman is that whoever wins Iowa will come into NH with a boatload of momentum and could very well siphon some of his soft support.

His success is very similar to Ron Paul's in 2008. Paul's best polling number was 14% in New Hampshire during that run. He doesn't have a great shot at being the nominee, but he's dramatically increased his name recognition for a top position or future run on a national ticket.

Yeah, but why bring that up at all? He wasn't asked about it. Republicans can be convinced to support a non interventionist foreign policy simply by focusing on the following points.

1) Intervention overseas is costing us trillions of dollars and adding to the national debt.
2) Intervention overseas takes away resources from our own defenses here at home.

Good news. I certainly hope that I end up being wrong about last night's debate.

maybe you should stop posting crap like
"Unfortunately, you're right. Whatever chance Ron had to win Iowa is now gone. Why does he care more about being pure than winning an election? This is just sad and depressing." during debates and spreading your incredible negativity.

I deleted that comment and said that my comment went too far. What more could I do than that?

Some people are more negative about things then others, I agree it's not a good way to keep everyone here pumped and working, but let him post what he wants. :)

I am a very pessimistic person in general, but that doesn't mean that I don't support Ron. I voted for him back in 2008 and donated money to him this year. But people (not you) can think what they want.
