Earlier tonight Tom Jensen of PPP said:
"We have the trifecta going in the field tonight- national, IA, NH GOP polls. Should be very interesting after last night"

Now he just said:
"Iowa looking like something close to a 3 way tie between Paul, Mitt, Newt. Perry and Bachmann still clearly in a lower tier"

For those that don't know, PPP is nationally leading polling organization. This is good news for those who though Ron would lose votes after last night. I was worried at first myself, but after watching it on YouTube I realized that Ron laid the smack down on Bachmann during the Iran exchange.

Thank god. It also looks like the media is not jumping on him for it as much as I worried.

Ron Paul does not lose support. I think we'll be knocking on the door of 30% on January 3rd

I was also surprised. I thought the media was going to be all over the Iran exchange. I think most of the journalists have hearts like I do. They don't want to see another million people die and trillions of their tax dollars wasted.

YES!!!! Last night really scared me, but I guess it didn't hurt him as much as I originally thought.

to be fair, they didn't really say that paul didn't lose ground.

Again, in the interest of being objective I would say the results from last night will take at least 2 weeks to really be seen in the polls.

Newt is negative favorability in NH. Likely means we are 2nd place, confirming ARG.

Also from PPP:

This doesn't necessarily translate into votes but NH primary voters think Paul and Huntsman are the most principled candidates

The campaign needs the funds to combat the attacks. Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann have been slamming Ron all day in Iowa. It may take awhile, but if they keep up the attacks they could hurt us if we don't have the money to run good ads!

for 'it'? He didn't do anything wrong, and some are treating him as if he did.
I didn't mean that he did anything wrong, sorry for the ambiguity, I just know that on anything where he differentiates himself he is attacked, especially on FP.

Agreed. Personally, I think I over-valued the "media conspiracy" angle. Hannity, Levin, and Rush are obviously carrying water for the GOP establishment. Beyond that, the facts be the facts. Bachmann was wrong and Paul was right. Period. End. And beyond that, the amount of people who watched this particular debate AND were unaware of Ron's stance on this issue AND were already supporting Paul AND have now decided to reconsider... well... that's probably a very small percentage of people.

Paul's answers to every other question during the debate were exceptional. Particularly his response to Newt's Crossing-the-Rubicon position of basically eliminated the judiciary.

I would still stay cautious, you guys. Remember when PPP tweeted that Michele Bachmann was tied for second and then out of the blue right before their poll was released Ron surged and Bachmann was way low? I'm not sure their method for polling but we can't let our guard down.

The only people giving Ron grief are the typical sources: Levin/Hannity/Limbaugh..basically, neocon central.

Don't forget to email your local radio stations and ask to take these shills off the air.
