I'm sure that's true, probably always has been. I'm talking about the very expensive campaign to keep all that on everybody's mind. Why is this the news fad du jour?
I think that's an interesting question... I think that the "right" has taken specific interest in this topic precisely because of the "Drag queen story hour" element, and the apparent effort that has emerged of trying to indoctrinate children into this trans ideology. And to counteract that, the left is gaslighting the right's response and attempting to ingrain the narrative that those who oppose any of these things are "transphobes" (which is lol from the get-go).
It's a hot topic and honestly probably not a broad-based issue, but the right is hot on it because even if it isn't broad-based, even one child being indoctrinated into this lunacy is an absolute travesty... and the left cannot allow the slightest dissent from their cultural demoralization effort. So it's plastered all over media for exactly this reason.
As an aside, if it were not such an insane effort to gaslight the people to such a degree that it's almost unbelievable to try to comprehend - I mean, imagine sincerely attempting to FORCE people to REALLY BELIEVE that a human being born a natural, real, biological male can LITERALLY become a woman - it would make for a somewhat fascinating study of human behavior. But, because it is so obscene, and so objectively dangerous, there is no time for that right now.
This ideology must be stopped and utterly and completely destroyed, and the ground under which their feet stood should be salted, so that such madness should never arise from it again. That, or we MUST separate from these people, and make whatever remains of them such an international pariah that they're never taken seriously as a people until they mend themselves from their insanity, and not because they want to be kind and understanding - all decent traits, all things being equal - but because they are literally - knowingly or not - actively attempting to shred the very fabric of reality. They cannot be allowed to win, because humanity will not survive, de facto, if they do.
