Suggest that you not use a numbered for the meetups that have met the requirements. When I first looked at your OP, I assumed that the 1,2,3,.. beginning each grouping was the number of the meetup. Instead use a bulleted list and order the meetups in chronological order, like so:

 
Check the first post in this thread for the continually updated list of ACTIVE meetup groups supporting the Feb 1st Money Bomb.

Continue tossing the links on this thread and I will happily check them and add them to the ever growing list. Just remember that you need the following to post.

1. url of the meetup group.
2. url of the actual event on the specific meetup groups calendar
3. url of the message sent to the specific meetup group message board or newsletter email.

For complete information if you are somehow confused just read through this thread and it will all come into picture for you.
 
Just getting a total of meetup groups participating, you can see that each meetup group url has its own meetup group number in it. Not trying to complicate this by trying to keep the numbers in order.

Only point for this is to get a total count of ALL meetup groups that are active as far as having this event on their calendar or a message on their message board OR both.

So as of writing this there are 26 meetup groups with this event on either the calendar, message board or both.

I have added a bold notice at the top of the list itself to stop any confusion.

I contacted the organizers of all Michigan meetup groups! Hopefully they'll spread the message throughout the state!
 
thank you for the help anewvoice, once you get confirmation of the different meetup groups actually adding it to the calendar OR you send a message to the message board or newsletter make sure and post it here so I can add each meetup group to the list on the first page of this thread. Here is a "quote" from a previous post I made so you can see what all is needed to make this work smoothly.

Dont assume that anyone will spread this message to anyone though, that is why I have set this up. Hold each meetup group accountable so we can really see who all actively is supporting this money bomb in the actual meetup groups. All that is needed is a calendar and message board inclusion and at most takes 3 minutes per meetup group so time can't be the excuse for any of them.

thank you hillbilly, they have been added to the list.

The 1068 and 975 meetup groups however can not be listed as they are private and I cant verify them. The other ones I can verify and have added them.

Remember also everyone to not only get feb 1st on the calendar but ALSO go to the "messages" link and leave a message about it as well so I can check for it as well. Not every meetup group member checks just the calendar OR the message board and can just see one or the other.


Getting the message to the message board OR newletter email address itself is a huge helper in making ALL members of a particular group aware of the date....

This is the easiest way to see who is willing to do some of the work to reach those meetup groups that need to be contacted. I will happily organize and weed out any dupes in this list. Keep me busy everyone!!!!! Each meetup group could potentially help raise tens of thousands a piece just by association so lets not assume everyone in each meetup group knows about this next money bomb.

All you need to do is sign up for them, email the group admin asking for a calendar inclusion and then post a message in their message board or to the newsletter email they have.

I have timed it and it is well under 3 minutes to do all of the above per meetup group. Join 10+ meetup groups that do NOT have the feb 1st money bomb on the calendar and make them aware of this big day.

Keep up the good work everyone. I want to have a few hundred of these on the first post on this thread so we have a long way to go.

Try and sign up for the meetups with 1k members or more first so we can attract the most amount of possible people BUT getting the smaller groups can mean extra money for the money bomb as well.

Every meetup group is important EQUALLY but this is a group effort.

Can you honestly say you dont have an hour to set aside to potentially make thousands of ron paul supporters aware of this next money bomb?

Ron Paul needs 5 MORE million BY feb 5th so this is going to take more then just MY donation or YOURS but for us to locate OTHERS to donate with us as well.

10+ BRAND NEW DONATORS need to be found by EACH OF US by february 1st people.

It is a private meetup group so I cant confirm and add it to the list BUT happy meetup group 100 is going to participate in this effort as well even if I cant see the message board or the calendar. Either way, the more meetup groups we can get to get this on calendar even the private ones that "don't allow outsiders to view them" is STILL something that needs to get done.
