Post meetup groups that HAVE the feb 1st money bomb on calendar

Keep em coming people, this is the ONLY way I can see us honestly knowing WHICH meetup groups ACTUALLY knows about this feb 1st money bomb. Tell others to help out with this as well. You never know how many MORE donators this effort will end up providing.

Unfortunately all I could do is post an event reminder to these groups. I can check back tomorrow to see if they posted the event. I need more help in Colorado though. I posted my limit of 25 event reminders to Colorado Meetups groups and only got about 2/3 done.

I figure if this gets reposted, I should reach around 1500 Colorado meetup members.
 
This thread is not to assume they are going to put them up though, not really an event reminder deal. We need to get the following information up. I cant really go through and try and locate cities and towns to check for them. If possible even if it is contacting less meetup groups go one by one getting the following information and posting that up.

1. the url of the meetup group.
2. the url of the calendar link for the money bomb itself.
3. the url to the message that was posted on the specific meetup group itself.

And remember to those who are working to help with this effort, only post them ONCE they have either the calendar event, message about the money bomb OR both. Also make sure and actually put the url of the specific meetup group so I can check it, find the calendar event and the message if they have them. I cant go looking by city names.

Agreed, and when I followup, I will give you the links. It took me an hour just to go through that list, so I fully understand.
 
Also those who want to go looking through the meetup groups locating ones that have the event on them ALREADY will be a huge help as well. What we want to do is have the masterlist now and if a message needs to get sent to their message board for instance then one of us can sign up for that specific group and send out the message.

If you have an hour or more to help that would be great. Anyone have tips on a possible method of searching the 1500+ meetup groups for the "money bomb" keyword possibly? or a way to search for the feb 1st event through ALL groups? Not sure if there is a function that can help but it never hurts to ask.
 
We need this stickied so it doesn't get buried. Very important task that NEEDS to get done people.....

DFW Activism (767) has it. This is a rollup group for all the groups in the DFW area, so all the other groups have been notified as well and pointed back to the 767 calendar. This includes the following:

I coordinate all the meetups in DFW. Every one I listed got a message, sent to their -announce list, because I'm the one that sent it.
 
You probably won't see it on the individual calendars. We have a lot of people and groups to coordinate down here, we do it the way that works -- that includes a central calendar and local mailing lists. It probably looks weird but it does work. Yay for local "government".
