Everyone seems to be split up on this issue, and I would like to know what the majority of you support.

I'm content for the most part, but leaning toward an Independent run only because it seems like the grassroots is dulling down with the current strategy. But whatever Ron plans on doing, I will follow him. :D

If it appears that McCain is going to get over 51%, iNDY for sure. Otherwise, stick it out, I think. We have to get 1st in 5 states to be able to go though, right?

I heard something like that. I really hope it isn't true...I can't see him taking 5 states in the future. Maybe two or three.

Here's the deal.

Believe it or not, mccain CANNOT defeat Hillary without us Paulers.
RP will threatened to run independent, thereby destroying the GOP. Some will move to the Ron Paul camp, some will stay with the neocons. Many dems will join up with RP. Hillary will still likely win but we will have rocked the establishment world and possibly bring BOTH parties to their knees!

Independant

I say independent all the way!
people know that the major parties are dead, I mean Hillary and McCain, oh boy, even a yuppieized, FOX watching, government loving, whatever can see that voting between them is like voting between Hitler and Stalin, same crap different package.

If we were to win, that would be the best thing to have happened in US History since the Constitution was ratified.

Believe it or not, I know two pure neo-cons that are supporting McCain, saying he is the 'most conservative'....give me a break. Sadly one of them is only 18 years old....the other is 78.

Wow, very divided so far. We really need to come together and look at the facts and rationalize this.

Why was this moved outside of the main grassroots? It's discussing both staying in the convention AND indy/3rd party.

Has to be Indy/3rd party at this point. I'm afraid support will dwindle down to nothing sticking as it currently is.

That's what worries me...we couldn't even earn him another 3 million before super tues.

Only one vote matters unless you 3rd party people find an alternate candidate to do it.

3rd Party ONLY if Ron Paul is committed to do what it takes to win.

Meaning the willingness to replace his campaign staff with PR and Marketing Gurus who know how to effectively get his message to the masses.

If he did that I honestly believe we would have an outside chance at winning and at a minimum shake up the political process like nothing else in our history!
