#2 is the odds-on favorite, sorta

Dems took this as an opportunity - probably could have helped engineer the primary win for the set-up.

A special election with a short time from the primary win/nomination and no smaller party candidates or write-in grassroots organizations
to interfere. A delay of a special election seems fairest to voters here actually,
but nothing here bodes well for the future of special elections or Roy Moore.

I believe Trump is actually pulling for Moore, even though publicly endorsing his opponent.

That's why Bannon left the White House, to wage an ideological war against the swamp without having to swim in it day after day. Trump still has to govern, so he will go along to get along.

Trump loves nonsense. He enjoys stirring it up. He tweets his opinion on everything. Yet he is quiet on this. That is telling too. He brought some Clinton accusers to sit in the front row of one of the debates.

Just for the record - and I can't imagine why the media seems to be unaware of this - but Gloria Alldred is the mother of Lisa Bloom - the lawyer that helped Harvey Weinstein undermine his accusers.

Interesting... Especially so when you consider the fact that it appears that the woman allred represents appears to have forged his name as "proof" and may be the best turn of events to discredit ALL his accusers...

Lisa Bloom Defends Harvey Weinstein, Responds to Mom Gloria Allred’s Criticism

Lisa Bloom is defending her decision to represent Harvey Weinstein in the wake of the Hollywood mogul being accused of decades of sexual harassment. Bloom faced criticism on social media — and even her mother, power lawyer Gloria Allred, spoke out against Bloom — over working with Weinstein.

Speaking exclusively to Variety on Friday afternoon, as the Weinstein Company board is in the process of meeting to prepare to suspend Weinstein, Bloom says, “I represent women and men in many kinds of legal matters.”

Eyebrows were raised on Thursday when the New York Times bombshell report about Weinstein revealed that Bloom would be advising the mega-producer through the sexual harassment scandal and had been consulting him over the past year.

Yesterday, Allred released a statement, disapproving of her daughter’s decision to represent Weinstein.


“Had I been asked by Mr. Weinstein to represent him, I would have declined, because I do not represent individuals accused of sex harassment,” Allred’s statement read. “I only represent those who allege that they are victims of sexual harassment. While I would not represent Mr. Weinstein, I would consider representing anyone who accused Mr. Weinstein of sexual harassment, even if it meant that my daughter was the opposing counsel.”

What's awesome is how Roy Moore holds these press conferences and the press doesn't fucking report what the press conference was about..

Vice had a special on Roy Moore last night. They went to a retirement home and talked to two old women who said that his behavior was not out of the ordinary for Alabama in the 70s. It was riveting.
