You can blame them for being evil.
Yeah, those evil corporations. More socialist, left wing rhetoric.
You can blame them for being evil.
Because they want to do something positive for their country and they don't give a rats ass about god damn political parties like you do yet shouldn't?
I can blame them for corrupting politicians with special interest money and those corrupted politicians for creating an environment conducive to perpetuating the crony capitalism cycle we are currently trapped in.
All you have to do is show them how corporations control govt., and so their solution for more government power will lead to more corporate power just like it always has. You say that, and a light switch in their head clicks.. It might take them some time to think it through and change their views completely, but once you see the light switch click for the 100th time you realize how easy it actually is to start pushing them in that direction.
For the whateverth time, quit being simplistic in your thinking. I've stated nothing about taking time away from helping Ron Paul in the electoral process to devote time to do nothing but educate non-believers.
far too many people don't bother watching the vid or reading the comments. they were cheering RP at the end.
Then I'll ask you what I've asked others. What exactly is the solution to this problem? How can you prevent private businesses from donating money to politicians without violating the 1st amendment?
Yeah, those evil corporations. More socialist, left wing rhetoric.
Elect ethical politicians and vote the corrupt ones out.
Spending time educating non-believers that will actually vote is not a waste of time. If people are interested in freedom, any time during the next month dedicated to activism should be spent calling likely voters, and promoting fundraising. After that, sure, go and educate the occupiers.. If they are still out there when it is snowing. We don't want Ron falling short by 100 votes because people were more interested in the Occupy movement, do we?
OMG, can you all not see that regardless of whether this should have happened or not, Dr. Paul turned it into total win???
Corporations that participated in derivative trading and backed it up with Fed funds rates at 0% while receiving bailouts when their game of Monopoly crashed aren't exactly angelic.
Like soldiers who justify killing innocent people under the guise of "following orders," or police officers arresting people participating in non-violent "crimes," I have a difficult time sympathizing with corporations and individuals who participated with the Fed in crashing the economy.
I'm all in favor of that. I'm just not in favor of more government control of private companies, which seems to be what some are advocating.
You're wasting time arguing on an internet forum when you could be phoning from home, or door-to-door canvassing. Delete your RPF profile and dedicate more time for those endeavors.
Fighting for freedom will be a struggle long after Ron is or isn't elected. Don't lose sight of the war to focus solely on the battle.
I disagree. Soldiers and police offers simply do their jobs. If they didn't do their jobs, they would get fired, or in the case of soldiers, even arrested. The blame again rests with the government for creating bad policies. Our soldiers and police officers deserve a tremendous amount of respect for their service.
Also, as long as these companies didn't actually do anything illegal, I don't see how you can criticize them for doing what's in the best interests of their company.
Also, as long as these mothers didn't actually do anything illegal, I don't see how you can criticize them for doing what's in the best interests of themselves and their families.
I can't make calls or canvass.
Like I said, there will be plenty of time to educate leftists once Ron is elected.
Elect ethical politicians and vote the corrupt ones out.
It's not only leftists who need education. Most on the right do as well.
Yeah, those evil corporations. More socialist, left wing rhetoric.
