Politico: Lots of coverage to Paul racism and GOP fears, but if he wins, we'll ignore that

Think about this. Politico has been gourging itself on coverage of Paul's racism "scandal" and on how the GOP fears him winning in Iowa, but yet at the same time says that if he WINS Iowa they're going to just ignore that because it doesn't matter.

When you put these two things together it's blatantly transparent the kind of evil we're dealing with here.

To be fair, we don't actually have much data on whether it's had an impact or not. But I agree it probably hasn't hurt us.

It won't hurt the campaign in regards to well informed voters and supporters. But keep in mind that there are a lot more uninformed sheeple out there who believe whatever CNN and Foxnews tell them to believe, so it might hurt in that regard.

Christmas is coming up, then New Years. The media will be quite busy covering that. If it restarts in the new year just before the caucuses/ primaries we'll know for sure it is a deliberate media smear job.

I think its safe to say that digging up 20 year old stuff that has since been covered and addressed (in congressional campaigns and at other times) is definitely a deliberate media smear job, especially with this primary cycle's track record of withholding attacks until a candidate rivals the Rominee in the polls and then annihilating said candidate with smears. The Media wants Romney to be the GOP challenger to Obama because they think they can beat him. They fear someone like Ron Paul who can actually challenge the left/right dem/GOP paradigm and status quo.
