Politico article concedes Ron Paul supporters didn't create 'manchurian' Huntsman video.

This is a dead give away
“It is offensive that Ron Paul’s allies would claim that Gov. Huntsman’s own family (bold added) would create such a video that distracts from the important issues that this country faces,” said Miller, who explained the campaign became aware of the video “when a reporter emailed me about it.”

Maybe I haven't read it, but nowhere did I see the Paul campaign --and I read the finding report --- suggest Huntsman's family did it. The only thing I have seen is suggestion that someone close to the Huntsman campaign did. Huntsman's campaign took it from someone close to Huntsman's family. Dead give away it was their family (if they indeed brought it up first).

No, it means that the owner of the youtube channel is making shit up to make the campaign look bad. It's someone from the Huntsman camp.

We have no clue who it is, but we do know RON was the target and it wasn't done by a Ron Paul supporter.

And Huntsman instead of apologizing for blowing this up against Ron, plays victim yet again.

WOW. Did not see that.

The video has Huntsman supporter written all over it from start to finish. We don't give a crap about Huntsman liking China. None. Of. Us. Period.

I really don't get why the media cares in the first place. It's like they just discovered the internet yesterday.

My only question is how did the perp get his hands on such home movies of Huntsman anyhow?

I still don't understand why one little video, made by one idiot has to get the spotlight when there are tons of stupid videos on Youtube.

Because Huntsman made it an issue, and demanded Paul answer for it, despite the fact that it was a random youtube video. That and we don't have a free press.

Also, John huntsman was chased by the media asking about this vid at his latest town hall. I saw it, it was sickening.

So if some other candidate makes a stupid video and then demands another candidate answer for it, would they put the spotlight on that one too?

Well, it would be best if the media doesn't say anything about any of the candidates and just shows the advertisements of each candidate and let the people decide. That would be unbiased as they could be.

Of course that isn't going to happen.

Talk about distracting from the real issues.......

The very fact that this video has been discussed so much PROVES it was a conspiracy against Paul from the beginning.

With regards to your question, which was, essentially, would the media jump all over a random youtube video if it implicated any other candidate. The answer is, most likely, no. Unless we were in the general election and they were attacking whoever winds up running against Obama. Then that person, the republican nominee, would get the Ron Paul treatment.

So if it comes up in the debate, Ron has the facts at hand, plays up the revolution's attitude toward China that would make such an ad impossible for his campaign or supporters to put out, and leave it there so Huntsman can't play the vicitm card again.

for all anyone knows it could have come from romney or gingrich trying to kill two birds with one stone. there are a lot of unknowns in this shady story.
