Old... movies... from the 80s?

Tron itself suffers mostly from very dated special effects and terminology, but it has some nice observations on politics, religion, freedom of information, freedom in general, morality, and any number of other subjects. Not bad for being an almost disposable '80s movie.
Hard Candy, the last person I recommended this to on rpfs really enjoyed it.

80's? Like Repo Man and Brazil (which has a Sam Lowry- not a Josh!), Buckaroo Bonzai- or Breakfast Club (actually 16 Candles was much better than the Breakfast Club).I went through a phase where I was addicted to old movies from the 80s and beyond. Seemed like a magical time. I hope I am wrong but I don't think the New Tron will bring the heart of the original kitsch.
That's why I stick to Finnish, Icelandic, and Norwegian black thrash metal![]()

Kludge-approved. (Admittedly, I wished for a more sadistic ending, but.... wuddya gonna do, eh?)
