GOP candidates to meet in N.H. forum

WASHINGTON (AP) — The New Hampshire Republican Party is sponsoring a forum for Republican presidential candidates on Jan. 6, two days before the state's first-in-the-nation primary.

The forum, where the candidates will be questioned by Fox New Channel's Chris Wallace, will be held a day after ABC holds back to back Democratic and Republican presidential debates.

"Never underestimate New Hampshire voters' appetite for politics," said Fergus Cullen, the chairman of the state Republican Party.

Participating in the forum will be Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson.

Unlike a debate, the candidates will face questions from Wallace around a table in a studio on the campus of St. Anselm College in Goffstown, N.H.. The 90-minute encounter will air live beginning at 8 p.m. ET on the Fox News Channel and on Fox News Radio.

Even if this is true, a letter, phone and email campaign will not work against these fascist this time. Faux has been planning this for a long time and they will have a steel jaw against our attacks. Their timing to marginalize him is key.

They are hard core now to prevent the people of this Country to have any say in their own Countries politic's.

Again, a lawsuit needs to be filed against these B%$&^$#^$#d's for trying to influence a national election. That is what they are doing and that is what they do. It is illegal and must be stopped.

Paul would receive far more publicity if a suit was filed and their debate was halted.

I just called the campaign, and all I could get from the person who answered the phone was the the press people are working on getting him in this debate (forum). The press people would tell her little else. She suggested calling back in the afternoon, because she thought they would have better information by then.

I'm boycotting FOX for one week now and will continue to boycott them through this debate unless Ron Paul is in it.

I have word that the NH GOP is not the problem here. They have always been very good to us. The state Chairman Fergus Cullen has always been very inclusive of Dr Paul and his supporters, and has said many kind things to the press over the last several months. The problem is not with the GOP, so please don’t bother them, they are on our side. We’re not sure where the problem is, and the campaign is looking into it. So hold off for now, until we get more information.

It's obvious that many people who've posted on this thread did not read each and every post. If they had, they would have seen that it was a misunderstanding. Just because only "5 of the candidates have confirmed" does NOT mean that Dr. Paul was not invited. It simply means that he was invited but has not AS OF YET RSVP'd.

I, too, would have fired off an email to NH GOP or Faux News had I not been disciplined enough to follow it through. A good policy posting on forums is to always read a thread from beginning to end, each and every post before posting comment(s).

PLEASE!! We don't help Dr. Paul when we behave like raving idiots and undisciplined brats. There might be a time for going off half-cocked, but this is not the time NOR is it Dr. Paul's style, therefore it should not be ours, either. Let's all show we are principled and controlled as Dr. Paul is. I would hate for him not to get the nomination because WE acted shamefully.

Do we want to help him get this nomination or don't we? If so, let's all show self-discipline, restraint and, above all, control our emotions.

I know what I'm talking about. I take the prize of jumping to conclusions. Just ask my daughter!

Hurling insults is not only non-productive, it reduces us to a level of idiocy. How well I remember when I was a delusional fool who bought into the GOP and its evil and insidious agenda. God helped me see the light and I can only pray that He will intervene and help them.
