Planned Parenthood in My kids School????

My oldest kid is only 11, and I just got the weekly flyer from his teacher. Planned parenthood is presenting the materials and training for the Human Growth and Development Unit!

Had no idea this kinda stuff was already happening! Very pissed to say the least. Probably like most here I don't even believe that organization should even exist. Now in my kids school, and will be in my youngest daughters class. My youngest will soon be starting Kindergarten.
How did we let things get so far gone in this country? So great that Dr. Paul has restored my only hope, and for all he has so long stood for!!

Home School ... Or, advise the school board that you must be notified of anything that is not the 3 R's so you can remove your child that day, or take them to court ... Make it their choice about your future actions.

They didn't even have a permission slip. They just said the material would be available to parents view the evening before the unit starts.
If this is just a one day thing, I will keep my boy home.
As a tax paying vet, I sure want all this changed yesterday! We must get this liberty movement affecting every school, college ect. This is a battle.
I am for what each parent wants their kids to know about life. The school is not there for that PERIOD!

Very odd. My public school was very anal about permission slips for this stuff. I always hated how my time and the taxpayer's money was spent teaching us about sex, nutrition, not doing drugs, etc. Why did they have to move away from strictly academics and into parenting?

If you disapprove of what that school is teaching your child, do the liberty minded thing to do and take your child out of that school. Public School is one of the worst public institutions in this country. Do the responsible thing and save your children from the Government Propaganda machine.

Sure and while they teach the kids how to have sex (like DARE teaches them to use drugs), they can make sure they get their sexual transmitted vaccines!

This is exactly what D.A.R.E. did for me. I found out what things I might want to try, and which things I would stay away from all together. It actually served me quite well as I grew up, so I guess it was a success. Just not in the way the state had in mind.

Yes this has to be my goal ASAP. Has been in my thoughts before, but I was just also emphasizing extra studies at home.

It truly is just like putting in time for my boy already. He is very bright and learns little there already, because of the way time and money is spent. It's all about the $$ parent squeeze down, and school fundraising now up the butt. The parents even pay for cleaning supplies and all copy paper, etc. + ever larger school fees for Public Education.

We didn't get into anything relating to sex until 5th or 6th grade, and even then they didn't really teach us anything about sex. Just that sex resulted in babies. That's as in-depth as that got. "sex results in babies, use protection if you're going to do it anyway," basically. Then, in depth stuff about what happens during pregnancy, etc.

I really, really want to be able to home school. ._.
