I've got the book too, but have only read the last 4 chapters and skimmed through the rest. There are two predictions I think could be considered mindblowing.
First, he predicts there will be fewer net healthcare jobs over the next decade. The mainstream thought is there will be tremendous growth healthcare due to aging babyboomers.
Second, he predicts the US will become a net exporter of oil, although he does not give a timetable for this prediction.
I liked the four chapters I've read so far, most of which is advice for the non-investor (which is why I read them first). I also thought the last four chapters would have the most info that wasn't in Crash Proof.
