Peter Schiff on Glenn Beck at 5

Let's hope he's actually on this time.

For some reason he wasn't on last time he was supposed to be when the Judge hosted. I would guess the Judge is hosting again today.

Remember when Glenn Beck had Peter on all the time in his final months at CNNHN? When he moved to Fox he's very rarely had Peter on. That goes for all of Fox News and FBN, Peter used to be on these shows all the time, now he is rarely on. He clearly loves being on TV so I'm sure it's not his choice.

he actually outed the fact that the US government is the largest supporter of tyranny in the middle east and that this plus a couple other neo-conish things are the reasons why they hate us, and that until we understand that and change policy we cannot defeat them..


I thought it was perfect to start out as hawkish and then go in that direction.. genius.

Sorry..I don't get the 'annihilate them' comment. Although he said that about U.S. tyrannising them, how does that square with annihilating or am I missing something? I was not impressed with that aspect of the interview. I can't imagine RP calling for annihilation of the monster the US Empire created in the first place. "Hey it was our fault but we are going to annihilate you anyway?" I'm obviously missing the subtleties of the 'American turn of phrase.' (I hope!) Can someone please explain?

here is the problem with the neocon philosophy- everytime they kill someone with their cia drones, they make more terrorist. the only way they can win is to annihilate everyone there. the alternative to mass regional genocide is schuerer's suggestion.

As an American, you should advocate the swift and efficient annihilation of all threats posed against us. The government's only legitimate role is to protect its citizens from force, both domestic and abroad. If you're not advocating the swift and efficient destruction of our enemies, then you're either advocating the altruistic and sophomoric empirical strategy we engage in now, or pacifism - neither of which lead to anything but the further loss of American blood and treasure.
