Peter has thrown in a considerable amount of his own money into this campaign. He simply isn't a multimillionaire like McMahon. When compared and adjusted for relative net worth, Peter and McMahon have thrown in a rather close ratio of their own funds into their campaigns.

Look at the Senate race in Nevada, Angle was a nobody a month ago and now shes the front runner. Schiff doesn't have that much time left but who knows.
