BTW, the bank website is http://www.freelakotabank.com. I just discovered it so I'm still looking around for details.

Deposit & Withdraw
Depositing with the Free Lakota Bank: for a limited time, you can convert USD to Lakota and deposit directly with the Free Lakota Bank. Simply sign up for an account and you will receive instructions on how to fund your new account. After our initial currency offering completes, deposits will only be accepted in the form of AOCS-Approved currencies. After this time, depositors will need to contact a local AOCS Officer to convert USD to Lakota, at which point the Officer will be able to accept the deposit on our behalf.

Withdrawing funds from the Free Lakota Bank: any and all withdraws from the Free Lakota Bank will be issued in AOCS-Approved currency. The currency can be shipped direct from the bank or can be issued by an AOCS Officer. What you do with the currency and the rate of exchange you receive when converting to a different currency is beyond our control. This is a response from the Republic of Lakota! correct spelling (Lakotah) NOT Lokota!

I suggest you contact them yourself and you will see I am telling the truth!

This bank is not a bank of Lakotah Land. Here is the response I got from Russell Means house.

I checked with Russell. We've got nothing to do with those folks.

The bank website whois goes to networksolutions anonymous domain.
The republicoflakotah.com whois goes to godaddy and was signed up by Russell Means.

The bank phone number (888.784.9996) is "non published" and the only places I can find it are:
https://www.intelius.com they want $5
ussearch.com they want $14

That would put a name to the site.

There is a huge rift between the Lakotah and Russel Means. A majority of the Lakotah don't support Means. Either way Means' participation isn't necessary to form a bank.
