I understand on the surface it can seem that way but the blimp generated millions in publicity. We had media trackers to confirm this at a minimum. I don't think Tom knew that when he made his comment in the "For Liberty" movie. I think most people don't know that.

But just for discussion... doesn't getting a minimum of 4 times the money spent in publicity mean it was in fact a success?

Since I am clearly a supporter, I guess it is no surprise that I would say yes.

However I also want to take the time here to state openly that anything that you can do to help me keep my children from going off to die in this mess that we are currently in has my full support and gratitude. Call me selfish but I love my children very much and I will do anything that I possibly can to insure that they live the long, healthy and happy life that they deserve.

I think the message will be the trickiest part, if I shake the magic 8 ball, I see total chaos over this. No, it's not really a magic 8 ball it is the CO issue. This thing will fly over God only knows where... It won't only come from the right, but it will come from the left, up, down, and in between.

too add, voting in this particular instance should be a PRIVELEGE, not a RIGHT for any troll hell bent on going postal, or "political insider" willing to sway the outcome, if you are gonna vote on what goes on the blimp, full address, name, info., etc, (just like w/ campaign donations) should be reguired. This way, there is an open record, and transparency so no one can call foul..
Maybe I am shooting for spotting shooting stars, who knows, but just a thought...

oh, and donation amt. should't matter, as long as it covers paypal/cc fee 10$ minium would be good. You could even ask for their votes through paypal so there would be a record if it were a credit/online transaction. just a thought.

what exactly is "millions worth of coverage", please break down and evaluate.
Yes, please be specific, how many news articles, how many tv reports, radio reports?

More importantly, what good is media coverage in millions worth if the resulting impact is not seen? (how many people do you know say "I voted Paul because I saw the blimp"?)

Compare this to "I checked out who the F Ron Paul is because I heard he raised $4M in one day".

Or let's put it this way, how many people have called up a TV or radio channel to ask how much TV spot advertising can be bought for $1M?
For everybody who talked about flying the blimp into Super Bowl, how many people know how much a Super Bowl TV spot costs?
How many people know how much traffic GoDaddy got as a result of their Super Bowl ad?

I cannot show you evidence the blimp "didn't do" something, but it would be silly to say that the blimp had more to do with Ron Paul's publicity today, compared to the bills, his other speeches and what he's done AFTER giving up running for President.

I think that you should direct people to a website on the other side. End The Wars on one side, and PeaceBlimp.com on the other. Then use the website to explain who PeaceBlimp is, and use the opportunity to educate people on a non-interventions policy or some other(s) liberty ideas. Many anti-war left will see this blimp and look up the website. This would be a great way to educate them.

Also, I do not think you should hide the fact that this is from a Ron Paul supporter. This will show everyone that the Ron Paul Revolution is still alive and kicking. It will also educate the anti-war left that the true peace candidates are libertarians, not neo-liberal scumbags.
