Paul supporters 'freak out' town clerk

ronpaulforums IS FOX NEWS!

This was a simple clerical error. Nothing was forged. People make mistakes occasionally.

Thanks for making all of us look like nutjobs. Are there any "normal" people supporting Ron Paul? I'm really beginning to wonder. This kind of bullshit has to stop.

Most Ron Paul supporters are sane.

When you see vulgar, obscene and boorish comments, like many of the posters on this thread, you are seeing something reflective of society at large.

Many people cannot address a political issue or a philosophical point without resorting to attacks on people.

They complain when O'Reilly, or Sean H. does it, and they do it themselves.

They seek to make ronpaulforums their FOX soapbox.

You cannot talk sense to them, but thanks for trying.

Serendipitous Event?

The vote process went awry because of negligence (accident/incompetence) or
the vote process went awry because of willful intent (fraud).

The lady was hired, or if volunteer expected, to be RESPONSIBLE for the vote count and tally. Whoever hired/accepted her needs to review her performance and behave accordingly and appropriately.

None of the above excuses abusive behavior by some few of us. Neither is it responsible or mature to accuse ALL Paulites of the abuses of a few.

On the other hand had this not occurred just the way it did would anyone be looking so passionately for a much needed recount? We all now know our voting process has been sabotaged and continues to be manipulated.

We are here to save our country - not bicker amongst ourselves. Keep the main point the main point and we have a good chance to succeed.

ronpaulforums REALLY is FOX NEWS

A lot of effort & money has been spent for those 30 votes & this is not a mistake. This woman needs to be investagated. Her bank records & all the others involved. Who she was campaining for. We need to know who is responsable & prosecute them for vote fraud.

You are a classic.

Yeah, let's invade the privacy of this person, all in the name of restoring rights.

Another idiotic comment.

If anyone should be apologizing, it's the campaign for the behavior of its supporters. An honest mistake was made and swiftly corrected, and this woman gets harrassed for it? Who does that kind of behavior help?

bs.....the campaign has nothing to do with us......i supposed if an rp supporter shot some one or robbed a bank the campaign should apologize????get real.....

Perhaps we should waterboard her until she confesses????

Seriously, how old are you?? ROFLMAO

for all we know it could have been the McLame or Ghoul campaign that made that calls to discredit the RevoLution. Hell...it could have been that bitter FixedNews bastard Rupert making the calls himself.

You really think an investagation to find motive would be invading her privacy. Vote fraud is a problem that needs to be stoped. It is a crime so was someone paid or was it done to help another canidate. If so which canidate.

this really only begs one question, If Jennifer Call didn't write the wrong vote down, then:
blah blah blah (edited out)

Until she fesses up who forged the wrong tally for Paul, then she deserves every single little damn bit of hell she receives. Give her Hell till she Confesses who it was that forged the wrong tally. Dont dare let her weasel out with a plea for pity!

This reminds me that Dr. Paul, unfortunately, has his own questions to answer: some disturbing newsletter from his past. :(

Question: Would you like the good Dr. Paul to receive the same treatment from the media over this fiasco as you're demanding for this woman?

It's astounding, the blind stupidity and arrogance of some people on this forum. No clue whatsoever.

Oh yeah, I really believe that based on some of the crap I've seen posted in this forum and heard directly from RP supporters.

Sure, I constantly hear that--we're angels and it must be plants from other campaigns.

Yep, I've never read any post full of rage, hatred, payback, etc. on this forum.

Funny, how's come I never hear of other campaigns' supporters pulling ill-advised stunts????

Face it, we are our own worst enemies, too bad you're too full of rage to see it. :(

Of course I am, that's why I try not to endorse STUPIDITY. :)

Sticking one's head in the ground does not make the problem go away.

I think people need to stop jumping to conclusions all across the board. Does this woman and/or her county deserve some pressure for a better explanation? Yes, because you really do have to be negligent (or fraudulent) to miss 31 votes, all of them for the same candidate, especially when they bring his vote total down to zero. Seeing zero votes for someone is a red flag, and not doublechecking on that is pretty suspect of incompetence at the very least.

That said, innocent until proven guilty. At the very least, consider that shouting loudly looks irrational to people unaware that we're on the precipice, and it's much more unlikely to convince them to look into these matters than calm (but firm) logical argument. Do Ron Paul supporters have a legitimate fear of vote fraud? YES. A lot of things are stacked against us...and that is exactly why we need to be calm and rational in the way we deal with people, because these news stories about angry harassment will do no good for Ron Paul's candidacy. Guys, we know that the mainstream media and entrenched powers are out to stop a Paul Presidency at all costs. However, we need to remember that most people in America have not yet woken up to our country's precarious situation, and open displays of hostility will do nothing but turn them away and give the media more ammo for propaganda against us. Remember: WE know that we're not the "lunatic fringe," and WE know that Ron Paul is the only candidate who can save our country from its downward spiral. However, what we need to learn is that we only have one shot at this: After this year, the Republican party will never again risk allowing someone like Ron Paul to have a chance at the nomination, and we'll be stuck trying to push the Libertarian Party. We have to do this right, and that means whoever is being aggressive and hostile with people needs to STOP.
