Today, Americans are such brainwashed pussies that some scattered paperwork and a couple broken windows signify the very attempted overthrow of our shining institution of democracy, in the seat of all that is sacred, inhabited by the most honorable that we could choose to represent us, doing the humble work of The People.

Or that's the story if you've been listening to the various talking heads trotted out by the media, at least. Never mind that Congress' approval rating rarely exceeds about 10%...

Media and Politicians have spent the last seven months telling us that BLM riots which have included private and public property damage in dozens of cities is acceptable political protest. Now, suddenly, they have decided that damage to the U.S. Capitol is an act of terror. We cannot accept this use of language because words have consequences.

I'm not sure if this has been followed up yet. But it turns out the above picture was deceptively cropped to take out Angeli's sign, which reads, "Q sent me." He was there as part of a pro-Trump counter-protest.

I think the whole paradigm of trying to say these people were either Trumpers/Q-believers or else Antifa is a false dichotomy. The two are essentially the same thing. Neither one is an official organization with defined membership. And they have overlapping goals, ideologies, and methods, and the natural infighting and factionalism that comes with movements like theirs.

I agree whole heartedly with your first two sentences, and with saying this guy isn't conservative. But being a supporter of Trump and Q and being a troll are not mutually exclusive.

At any rate hopefully we can at least agree that it was wrong to crop that Q sign out of the pic of him in front of the anti-cop protestors for propaganda purposes, whoever it was that did that.

Aaron's brother, Nachman, , vice president of the South Brooklyn Conservative Club, claims to have connections with high-ranking members of the Trump administration. Nachman was also present at the rally on Thursday, but left before the group entered the capitol.

The federal government has never been more oppressive than it is now (with the exception of FDR's endless term).

The "LOLlibertarians" would have not spent several trillion dollars in vote buying projects, for instance.

But, by all means, enjoy your tribe: better hope they reimburse for living expenses.

The Capitol, more than most buildings, has a vast cellular and wireless data infrastructure of its own to make communications efficient in a building made largely of stone and that extends deep underground and has pockets of shielded areas. Such infrastructure, such as individual cell towers, can turn any connected phone into its own tracking device.

Phone records make determining the owners of these devices trivially easy. Congressional investigators and federal prosecutors can also identify devices and users who may have connected wittingly or automatically to congressional guest WiFi networks — unless rioters made a point of deactivating their devices or leaving them behind during the takeover.

The countless hours of video — much of it taken by the rioters themselves and uploaded to social media — also offers an ideal data set for facial recognition. Many scenes were captured from multiple angles, with good lighting, over several minutes. Few people wore masks. While facial recognition technology often struggles to reliably identify people with dark skin, the large majority of the Trump supporters who entered the Capitol on Wednesday appeared to be White.
