There is a certain mind-set, which I have been forced to interact with to a scale not expressible in words, that I call Always Right No Matter What. They could be watching a baby being barbecued alive, and as long as it's being done by Our Team, it's definitely the right thing that should absolutely be happening and that baby is obviously a terrorist or something, who knows, who cares, because ALWAYS RIGHT NO MATTER WHAT. I can't imagine what it's like to go through life with this kind of absolutely unshakable lack of self-awareness... like, the thought has never once crossed your mind, in all these years, that maybe just maybe you're not the good guys? Literally no amount of 10 athletic men dog-piling on one helpless arrest victim and football-kicking their heads while locked up in a choke-hold will ever cause you to take a step back and ask where you might have made a wrong choice somewhere along the way? Absolute banana republic... in fact, at this point along the timeline, it's probably an insult to banana republics to refer to this corrupt, morally bankrupt state as a banana republic.

And probably one of the most disheartening aspects of what we're witnessing is that there is ZERO pushback from agents, officers and soldiers who should well know that what they're doing is in direct contravention to the principles upon which this country was founded... and, even more sadly, there is nearly as little pushback from the citizenry more broadly.

It's cliched to compare the American empire to Rome, but if one were to do so, I think it would be roughly approximate to about the middle of the Roman empire... signs of cracking and possibly even breaking. However, in 2024, time moves a helluva lot faster than it did in 250 AD.

So we shall see. Pray God we're all stacked full of soft metals... gold, silver, tin, and lead.

And even if it were the case that we have a legitimate choice of candidates, what the hell good does that do if our voting is decidedly and objectively not transparent.

Not that it really matters anyway... outside of a wild card, it wouldn't matter who is elected. The permanent bureaucracy, the MIC, the intel agencies, the Fed and the corporate oligarchs are really running things anyway. Just look at what Judge Nap said this week about what Trump told him about JFK.
