My reason posting this was not to analyze the situation.

It was merely to settle a dispute between Mrs. AF and myself.

I had made the statement that McCarthy was already backsliding and crawfishing out of what he swore he going to do, if elected Speaker, because I had read he was NOT going to turn over the 6 Jan video to the American people.

Mrs. AF said I was full of shit, that he was too going to release the tapes.

Well, I wasn't.

Turning it over to Tucker Carlson is a better option than, say, turning it over to Don Lemon or the Young Turds, but that is NOT what Kevin McCarthy swore he was going to do.

He said he was going release it to the American people.

To my mind, that means uploading it to a public site to be viewed and downloaded by anybody.

And here we are months later, Carlson is fired and missing in action somewhere, and the people still have not had access to the 6 Jan tapes.

Disappearing public figures is a red line. It is a de facto declaration of war upon the citizenry because if they can disappear public figures, they can disappear anyone.

In Clown World, how do I know that a bunch of black-clad thugs sporting "FBI" on their coats are not just LARPing? In the old days, it used to be believed that "nobody would be that stupid and they'd eventually get caught" but if we're disappearing public figures, those kinds of suppositions are no longer valid. I don't see why local Sheriffs should not assume as standard-operating procedure that all apparent Feds are, in fact, organized crime gang-members LARPing as Feds, until confirmed otherwise. Since we're on a wartime basis and everything...

As a personal matter, I draw the line where violence is justified well past the point where it is actually justified. But if the Federal government is, indeed, openly declaring war on these United States, then so be it. This is not 1861. They cannot even begin to imagine how big of a mistake they would be making. The fact that they think "nukes and F-15s" is how you win a war in 2023 just shows how absolutely unprepared they are for a real war in 2023...

Some of us predicted (knew) that even leadership of those organizations smelled funny and likely were informants. This of course also creates distrust within other patriot groups.

I can't say this enough but Washington DC is a sovereign city, completely separate from the union of the 50 states and is under martial law/military rule/war footing and has been since at least the Civil War. The 1789 Constitution Bill of Rights does not apply there. Agencies based in DC, as part of the (corporation) federal government should be viewed accordingly.
