Patel, Bongino declare: "Epstein killed himself".

It's more sinister than that. This is the same narrative-jujutsu as they did with Virginia Giuffre getting hit by a bus (odd, to say the least) and then being suicided despite emphatically explaining publicly on her Twitter account that she is not and never will be "suicidal". The point of that story is demoralization. "Oh, you plebs thought that a whistleblower could save you? Think again, maggots!"

Trotting Patel and Bongino onto national TV and having them betray MAGA to its face is exactly the same narrative, in a different format. "You think that some hotshot commentators can unseat us?? Watch us trot them around the stage like puppets."

I reject the propaganda. And they can shove that black-pill where the sun doesn't shine...

I wonder sometimes if instead of good or bad it's just A or B.

In other words, you're just throwing your hat in with this team or that team, not really making a decision between paradise or damnation.

I like the idea of reincarnation.... It seems reasonable to me that everything, including souls and what not, were created at the moment of creation, and "this mortal coil" is just a series of incarnations until we finally make it back home. And what we do in this life determines where we will be in the next.

It's about the journey not the destination, right?

MAGA=Trump. And they didn't betray Trump. They did what he hired them to do. And it's quite possible they protected him.

OK? The point is that the populist right movement (MAGA) has been hijacked and nullified by the very Swamp it swore to "drain". And this is the third time this has happened in my adult lifetime. I forsook the R-party liars and traitors after the R-traitors passed and GWB signed the largest Federal spending bill in US history at that time (the prescription drug bill). It's only been downhill since. There are just two political alternatives in the US. One political alternative has blue-hair and doesn't know if it's a man or a woman. The other political alternative wears a Sunday suit and stabs you in the back. Take your pick...

Well yes, but the only way to properly see this is from the perspective of the Gospel:

Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth.
Serve the LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare up in a moment.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
(Psalm 2:10-12)

All these traitors are choosing damnation, whether Republican or Democrat:

Though they blow the trumpet and get everything ready, no one will go into battle, for my wrath is upon the whole crowd.

Outside is the sword, inside are plague and famine; those in the country will die by the sword, and those in the city will be devoured by famine and plague. All who survive and escape will be in the mountains, moaning like doves of the valleys, each because of his sins.

(Ezekiel 7:14-16)

So, let all who reject the Lord Jesus Christ be damned (2 Thess. 2:12). Choosing one "side" or the other "side" among the damned is a fools' errand.

The lake of fire is indistinguishable from a never-ending cycle of reincarnation. The Gospel is the one and only way to escape the coming Fire.

The good life is about the journey, not the destination. But we are not there, yet, we're still on earth. Choose the good life, that is, choose paradise, choose the word of God, choose the truth, choose Jesus. All other paths leads to damnation, not metaphorically, but literally and really. Imagine I am Lazarus back from the dead, if that helps you understand the urgency of what I am saying. This is not a game but, sadly, the devil lures many of us into that delusion and so off into the flames of hell...

I don't really see a hijacking. I see Trump being what he has always been, and his followers continuing to love him in spite of (or because of?) this, just as they always have. They don't want a president who will drain any swamp. They want a president who at the same time both exemplifies the swamp and complains about the swamp and talks about draining it. And they still have that. Listen to any conservative talk radio. There is no disappointment to be found. Trump and his appointments are doing what they elected him to do.

OK? And? We go back to monkey-brain politics? "Trump bad. Biden good."? I reject the binary and always have (since 2008). I gave Trump 8 years of "suspension of disbelief" because I saw smoke coming out of MAGA that could have indicated real fire. It turns out it was just a smoke machine. I'm sad but not surprised...

Surely the truth will never come out on this whole affair

It will all come out, and SOON:

There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs. (Luke 12:2,3)

Hopefully he will find someone better he can get confirmed and replace them quickly.

Holding your breath? Wake me when he even mentions this fiasco.

Trump won't even say Epstein's name.

As if that by itself satisfactorily answers all the questions surrounding his death.
Came to post this.

Even assuming they aren’t lying and Epstein very well did kill himself: that still doesn’t excuse the fact that Epstein was not on a 24/7 watch after Epstein’s previous “suicide” attempt.

In toto, the chain of events that contributed to Epstein’s death are simply inexplicable and inexcusable: a lack of administrative oversight, failure to follow jail protocol, inadequate supervision, staffing issues, malfunctioning cameras, etc…

The culmination of these malfeasances strongly indicate that the failures in Epstein’s supervision were not merely negligence but were instead intentional acts of omission designed to facilitate Epstein’s suicide.

In short, it is disingenuous of Bongino and Patel to suggest that the events surrounding Epstein’s death while in the custody of the State do not indicate a larger, orchestrated conspiracy.
