Pat Tillman Is NOT With 'God'! He's F-ing Dead!

I remember the day Pat decided to quit playing football and joined the army and Simeon Rice started talking shit about him and that was the day I started hating Simeon Rice.

I saw this last night and could not believe the MSM would put this on TV.

No surprise to me. Bush is out of office. Obama made Stanly Mchrystal the fall guy for his failed Afghanistan policy. Rumsfeld was long gone. There was nobody in power directly affected by this story that needed protecting. It's no different then the MSM putting out stories during the Bush years that made Clinton look bad. (Such as the docu-drama about 9/11 that made Clinton look bad). A little Bush bashing from CNN to take some of the current heat of Obama is to be expected. That doesn't make the bashing any less deserved.

Where was CNN on this story years ago when it would have mattered more?

Where was CNN on this story years ago when it would have mattered more?

Why didn't the truth about the Gulf on Tonkin come out during the Vietnam war? Why did we not find out that British intelligence had advance knowledge of Pearl Harbor until recently? Why did it only recently come out that the first black secret service agent on the presidential detail thwarted an assassination attempt on JFK weeks before he was actually killed in Dallas? Why did "Operation Northwoods" not come out until decades later? Each of us know in our gut exactly why. :( Years from now much of what is now derided as "conspiracy theory" will come out. And I'd bet a dime to a dollar that the worst of the Tillman story has not come out.

I've heard that Pat was growing a negative opinion on the war and our foreign policy

Somebody who's obviously so emotionally distraught that he probably shouldn't have been the one speaking?

His brother died years ago and he's still crying in public like that? My mother died and I'm able to talk about it. Losing a parent to me is worse than losing a brother.

It is my understanding that the clip of the brother was from years ago at Pat's memorial service. But let's say your right. Did you lose your mother under unknown circumstances? Did the government lie to you about her death? I think that makes a difference.

What a lowlife. Who uses four letter words at public speaking events?

Someone who doesn't give a flying fuck what you or I think.

To call him a lowlife just shows what kind of person you are, IMO. I try not to take a person who's just lost a family member to task for saying a few curse words...but that's just me.

His brother's comrades killed him. And the upper management in the military covered it up. And they tried to make him a martyr for an immoral cause. Are you going to tell me that wouldn't piss you off just a smidgen?

What a lowlife. Who uses four letter words at public speaking events?

1. This "public speaking event" was his brother's memorial service. Perhaps it shouldn't have been a "public speaking event," and a family-oriented funeral instead?

2. "Fucking" has more than four letters in it.

3. If you listen to the clip, his brother says that it's what the deceased would want him to say, since the deceased was NOT RELIGIOUS. Kudos to him for honoring his brother's wishes, and caring more about that than what some "lowlife" on the internet would think years later.

Why are we talking about Tilman? There are like 5000 others out there that died that are not getting movies made about them.
The Tilman story has always been over rated in my book. Yes he died and I feel for him and his family but he was a football star so he is getting special regards both by the military and the people on these forums. He died in friendly fire and just because he was a foot ball star the Brass didn't want the world to see that he had died like many others have died-in the fog of war, at the hands of your own comrades and they tried to make it seem he died a hero.
He just died in one of the many ways to die in a honorable "war for liberty, rights, and freedoms"

What a lowlife. Who uses four letter words at public speaking events?

A respectable man who lost his brother under bullshit circumstances and doesn't sugarcoat it with "he's up with the angels" or "he's smiling down upon us." Pat Tillman is fucking dead. Nothing more to it.
