Palin to endorse 2012 choice on Greta tuesday [MOD NOTE: Speculation]

Don't know how connected Beck is with the Fox crowd anymore, but there certainly is a directive issued to the talking heads at Fox/conservative radio.

I would agree with you that the Fox Network steers their talent into certain directions and Beck was supposedly fed up with the top-down content control. Beck is out there. He does largely what he wants now. I don't like Santorum but I understand why Beck is drawn to him.

and a staffer immediately said it was a verbal glitch.

Verbal glitch or not, she stumped for Perry in his governor race, she has a lot to gain with Rick Perry as president. She could land a position in Perry's cabinet as the next secretary of energy--so she can push drilling in Alaska.

Why would anyone want her to endorse Ron? She is such a polarizing figure, I don't want any association with her.

Palin was attacking Perry in September over Gardasil. He hasn't changed his position on that, so I doubt she has either.

Perry is OUT.
Cain is OUT.
Romney is OUT.

So that leaves possibly Newt, Santorum (she did call him a Neanderthal), Bachmann and Ron.

If she DID endorse Ron..... I would fall out of my chair. I mean I would literally go apeshit.

if she does that I will give you +rep daily, for a week straight.

No need for that, just remembering how when she endorsed Rand we have dozens of users posting really nasty commentary about her in the threads related to the endorsement. That was not the way to react.....

Flashback:

Sarah Palin responded tonight to Rick Santorum’s speculation as to why she is not attending the conservative gathering, CPAC, saying he was “uninformed” to suggest she has “other business opportunities.”

“I will not call him the knuckle-dragging Neanderthal that perhaps others would want to call him. I’ll let his wife call him that instead,” Palin told Sean Hannity on Fox New

It was mainly Bachmann who bucked up against Perry over Gardasil, then never followed through. Sarah Palin emotionally jumped on the bandwagon with Bachmann but again no one followed through. Then Perry recanted and said he has made a mistake on making that a mandate--then all was well.

I agree, and I am really glad you bring this up. If they help Ron Paul in any way, I will withhold criticism.

Long-term, she has to see that supporting Ron Paul is the only path for her. Every other candidate is toxic in one way or another. She has two options:

1. High Risk/High Reward: Endorse Ron Paul.
2. Low Risk/Low Reward: Do not endorse anybody. The only problem with this is that you need to exercise authority to some extent in order to maintain it. If she gives up her chance to play kingmaker here, she does nothing to build herself.

Bachmann or Newt

Bachmann is in single digits, Palin isnt tying herself to that sinking ship.

To the mainstream GOP, Noot is the up and comer and will not commit any of the flubs and mistakes that the others have made. Unless we can get a victory in Iowa, gain some momentum and win or come in second in New Hampshire etc, then he will be the nominee, and we will have either the third party option or whatever plan B will become.

with all due respect.... you are WAY overestimating Newt.

According to Greta's poll, it's either Gingrich or Cain (Ron Paul was missing of course):

Greta's lineup tonight: Donald Gump... watch for more of the same old propaganda. Since the latest Bloomberg poll has Ron Paul in a
virtual tie FIRST PLACE... time to bring the BS artist in to steer the public opinion.

Who better for the establishment to exploit on the TV zombie masses? Corporate Welfare King: Donald Trump

What's the INTRADE ODDS "The Donald" states, "Ron Paul can't Win"? You know it's coming

Who does Donald support for President?
