I bet it wouldn't if it included what those current laws are.

Likewise if it included any specification of the kinds of things that would be necessary in order to enforce them.

It's actually much better than that - they pay social security taxes but will never be eligible to collect benefits. Win/win.

Depends on how you define "welfare." In a broad sense, yes, illegal immigrants use public schools and emergency rooms and other publicly-provided goods and services without paying for them. But so do lots of US citizens. I see no reason to be more upset with illegal immigrants than any other class of citizen over this. Do you?

It still disappoints and upsets me there are members here that are still so ignorant to believe Rand's position is Amnesty. If you listened to, or read his speech, it's very clearly not amnesty.

Can any of the naysayer's show me ONE unconstitutional issue regarding his approach?

To the closed border types, not rounding them up and deporting them is amnesty.
 
So Rubio and the other republicans openly say, give illegals citizenship (without a plan to prevent future situations like now) and they are not given a bad rap.

You do know that once they have the legality wand waved over them the drive will then be one to replace them with more illegals.

Do you really think playing them in to the hands of the criminals in business is doing them a kindness?

I've seen it when truly needed people were willing to come here from all over the world. We worked side by side for the same wages and benefits. That was a long time ago and a lot of counterfeiting has taken its toll.

What's going to take place when the handouts run out and people have to find jobs?

Single issue voters in regards to immigration are indeed racists. If that's your issue that causes you to reject a representative, you are a racist and probably ignorant of US history. My ancestors filled out documents but did not participate in any waiting list like they have today. People from other countries at the time migrated like the "illegals" of today and no repercussion happened to them. My ancestors also spoke their native language for 2 generations and clung to communities of their own kind. Fuck any englishmen that have a problem with that. They fled Germany because they saw what was coming.

If you're going to be a "conservative" at least study the fucking history of the society you are trying to conserve. As it is you're just a xenophobic bigot.
