The report said that the so-called diplomat Raymond Davis had served many other security agencies before holding this position. He served special services group of US Army for 10 years. The report unveiled that he was a good commando, a sharp shooter and an excellent expert of GPS explosive devices. It further said that Raymond Davis was a direct assistant of US President Obama on war against terror. He was sent to Pakistan and given the task of selecting targets for drone attacks inside the tribal belt.
2 Jail Officials sacked for facilitating Davis
LAHORE (INP): The Assistant Superintendent Kot Lakhpat Jail along with a prison constable have been dismissed from their posts
for providing facilities to the US national Raymond Davis, who is detained for killing two Pakistani nationals. According to sources, Naved Asghar posted as an assistant superintendent at the Kot Lakhpat Prison allegedly tried to provide Davis with a USB memory stick with the help of a constable, Hafiz Hussain, posted in the high security zone’s Information Technology (IT) department of the prison. The USB stick was recovered from Hussain when he was trying to enter high security cells. During investigations he disclosed that Asghar asked him to take the memory stick in high security cells.
