OWS Chat doesn't allow talk about the Federal Reserve

I think its great that you guys are taking this fight online to the source. And, I don't want to piss in anybody's Wheaties but this is NOT about the FED and it should not be your argument or focus.

The FED is just one of the culprits in the crime... they are the bag man of the operation. Its the congress and the white house who are the real target. Sure, the FED gave them the bailout money... sure, the FED printed all that worthless script... but, who let them do it? The federal government.

So, while a discussion needs to include how this all happened... how the FED is causing so much damage... how the banks that cause the financial collapse were ready with their hands out... how large corporations took every dime the could get their hands on... it was the congress and the administration that perpetrated the theft. They are the ones that passed TARP... they are the ones that authorized the FED to print more money.

So, lets make sure WE know the real target... not the FED... the representatives in Washington. Those are the people at whom the anger and action needs to be taken. Vote the SOBs out of office... the includes BHO. Turn this into the lefts worst nightmare... a movement they tried to create that turned on them. Get these Occupy people to understand the real source of the problems and convince them to vote. That's how we can turn this thing in our favor and do something that actually matters... getting them to vote.

Kuddos to all you folks taking on this task!!! Now get these mindless protesters a real target and some action they can take that will actually matter. Vote the SOBs out of office and replace them with people who will follow the Constitution and sound money practices. Hmmm, if only there were someone running for President with those qualifications.

The Fed is the original Enabler. Without it, none of the other banks would have grown to their monstrosic sizes they are today. No Gold Standard? Blame the Fed. Fractional Reserve Banking? Blame the Fed. Income Tax? Blame the Fed. Just think about that one Thomas Jefferson quote, something about corporations depriving the people of their property until they wake up homeless on the continent their forefathers conquered.. The Fed is a big Domino, that needs to fall.

Just call it the Federal Reserve Bank.

That's actually a good idea. From now on we should ALWAYS say "Federal Reserve Bank" instead of just "Federal Reserve." That alone might wake up a lot of people.

Indeed here's video of the Fed, elected representatives, and the President generating the crisis. And of course the man who predicted it:

FED

Elected Representatives

The President

The man who called it:

We should definitely go into this chat.

We don't only have to talk about the Fed. We should talk about corportism, corporations controlling the government to write regulations to benefit them and hurt their competitors, how more government will make it worse, how the government is the source of most of our problems, and yes the Fed as well. Just be civil about it.

I was there for a while yesterday. That was largely the discussion.

The only people I saw getting banned were folks who's name or posts were deliberately offensive. or for Spamming.
There was a lot of Free Market talk and opinion. Folks opposing "capitalism"were being corrected (politely) and Corporatism was the term used.

The elite globalists are the real targets. They control everything. They are the culprits. Our government is merely one of their puppet strings. Other than that every word you said is true. Yes we do need to hold our politicians in Washington accountable. We can do alot of good if we remove them and replace them with ones that won't bow to the global elite. However they are already working a way around this by creating a super congress. Now they only need 12 out of 535 members to be on their side.

I was kicked for mentioning Ron Paul. Lots of lefties there. Not worth the effort.

Mentioning or Spamming?
I saw his name mentioned several times when I was there, Haven't been today (yet)
Perhaps just the Mod on duty.

I found it interesting how many people in their chat were from outside the USA.
I found it even more interesting that a couple of their mods were from outside the USA.
Don't know what it means... but interesting.

Many Anons are from outside the US.
Folks all over the world want freedom, and oppose the Global corruption. The Wars. Tyrants and secrecy.

Wall Street is widely seen as the center of that corruption.

Have you ever known me to spam?

All I did was mention his name. <PUNT>

Then I mentioned freedom as being the best solution. <PUNT>

And so on until I decided it was a waste of time. Some of those dummies believe there is no such thing as private property and that the "state" has the right to take what it wants... all for the greater good, of course.

Sounds like they have no problem considering their chat area private property... when you disagree with them. :)

Well, I had a debate with statists over free market healthcare vs universal healthcare, but the conversation was moving annoyingly fast and I STILL haven't found the healthcare costs chart I've been looking for.

Then I debated two guys on monopolies in free markets. One was reasonable and had actual points (which were fairly easily refuted generally), and the other said "YOU NAIVE FOOL FREE MARKETS DONT WORK CAUSE I SAY SO". I might have convinced the first, but I had to leave as the chat was moving fast and my fingers are starting to feel unpleasant from all the typing.

Also, keep in mind that the chan ebbs and flows between free market types and angry socialists. Don't be discouraged if you are suddenly attacked by people wanting to nationalize everything, just stick around and they will run and hide as libertarians briefly take over. Also, talking about ending the Fed IS okay now that everyone does it, but don't take it too far and don't spam it or you'll get banned by mister."STAY ON TARGET"

But be respectful and don't just start in with "property rights" and Ron paul 2012. Talk concepts and how the Fed is a private cartel.

Good point. I am always shocked that people still do not know that the Federal Reserve BANK is in fact, a Bank, a Private Bank, who misleads people into thinking that it is a part of the Govt, and even the Govt will tell you such lies, but we all know better. Why would the Govt pay interest on all the currency in existence to ITSELF?
