My first choice of course has been and still is Ron Paul. But that's not going to happen. Yes, I'm still pissed about the convention and all the cheating in the republican party. I'm even considering leaving.
I'm going to vote this cycle for Mittens however and every other liberty candidate for congress and state. Here's why. A second term with Obama and he will appoint new supreme court justices that will be anti 2nd amendment.
This nation is already on the verg of collapse from the lack of REAL money. A ruling to outlaw private citizen gun ownership will likely lead to civil war. If you do not have a right to defend yourself, then you are a slave.

Now, I know all of us have seen that 2004 video of Mitt about the tough gun laws. But it is totally taken out of context. The bill he signed was an amendment to the strict laws on the books to allow citizens better access to guns.

I cam across this documentation last night. http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/node/8541 that explains the relationship with Mitt's administration and G.O.A.L Gun Owners' Action League. Basically Mitt did whatever they said.
Think about that people. What if we have control of the House and the Senate and many local state positions? Would Mitt veto an Audit the Fed bill? I know Obama would. Would Mitt veto a bill that authorizes the US Mint to coin real money for circulation? I know Obama would.

It all comes down to a few basic principles. Freedom and property plus the right to keep or enforce your rights.

If the right to bear arms is removed, this nation is over.

My impression from comments here is that about an equal number of people will vote Romney as Obama. (Both relatively unpopular selections.) The rest are voting Johnson, Goode, writing in Paul, or refusing to vote.

It's frustrating when somebody is not even open to the ideas of Ron Paul, and they won't even give him a chance...then they go and vote for Mitt Romney because they think they're saving the country. It's even worse when somebody who supports Ron Paul, who is educated and able to see past the propaganda is still so dim that they think just by having a Republican President will bring change in the Supreme Court. Roberts is a Bush appointee who ultimately voted that Obama's Universal Health Care law is constitutional. You still think there's a difference between the two parties?

I don't get it. You're smart enough to support Ron Paul, but you're still so thick in propaganda that you actually believe what you just posted. Blows my mind.

everyone is at a different spot in their journey. we had some last time who supported ron the whole primary, but then felt compelled to vote for mccain.
yes, blows the mind. but i bet, those same people from 2008 are not voting for romney this time. in 2008, the had just taken their first steps outside of the matrix. the desert of the real still looked just as distant as the matrix... so the voting booth got them... that time.
same in 2012. some people will vote for romney because that is their programming. but given enough time in the desert of the real... that programming will wear off. in 2016, they will vote for freedom, whatever label it may have.

Personally I think the whole thing is rigged. One guy will not save the country, it must be the people. Basically what RP says.
Is that link propaganda? Check it to make sure. Oh about Roberts. Roberts declared the mandate a tax and therefore as a tax the law would be constitutional. However, since the mandate is a tax the whole law is unconstitutional. All bills for new taxes must originate in the House. The version of ObamaCare that passed did not. Therefore the next suit against it on that basis will void it.
Of course the Senate must approve new S.C. Justices. So that's why it is MORE important to take over the senate with conservative Republicans / libertarians. It would be hard for Obama to do anything without both houses. Of course we have the RINO problem.

It's hard to sort thru the propaganda.
