My first choice of course has been and still is Ron Paul. But that's not going to happen. Yes, I'm still pissed about the convention and all the cheating in the republican party. I'm even considering leaving.
I'm going to vote this cycle for Mittens however and every other liberty candidate for congress and state. Here's why. A second term with Obama and he will appoint new supreme court justices that will be anti 2nd amendment.
This nation is already on the verg of collapse from the lack of REAL money. A ruling to outlaw private citizen gun ownership will likely lead to civil war. If you do not have a right to defend yourself, then you are a slave.
Now, I know all of us have seen that 2004 video of Mitt about the tough gun laws. But it is totally taken out of context. The bill he signed was an amendment to the strict laws on the books to allow citizens better access to guns.
I cam across this documentation last night. http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/node/8541 that explains the relationship with Mitt's administration and G.O.A.L Gun Owners' Action League. Basically Mitt did whatever they said.
Think about that people. What if we have control of the House and the Senate and many local state positions? Would Mitt veto an Audit the Fed bill? I know Obama would. Would Mitt veto a bill that authorizes the US Mint to coin real money for circulation? I know Obama would.
It all comes down to a few basic principles. Freedom and property plus the right to keep or enforce your rights.
If the right to bear arms is removed, this nation is over.
