I'm watching Woods, Hunter, Kokesh, Rand, Jones, I'm reading this that and the other.
There is a void and its filling up with bad faith, confusion, some good sense, some nonsense, but there is too much of it to deal with.

There is only one answer - Ron Paul must get in touch and talk to us now.
Likewise Wead, likewise Benton.

Wead is on facebook tomorrow for a live chat. If we're nice to him, he should be able to answer many of our questions.

I will not demand an answer from Dr. Paul. If he chooses not to speak another word in his life, that is his choice. And this is where we are. Choice. So decide and act accordingly. Lack of action is also a decision.

You can lead a horse to water ... do I really need to finish this saying?

I don't think this is a demand persay, but it's certainly THE thing that is needed. Doug Wead, great guy though he is, is not who needs to be speaking right now.

He may think he has. The day after his email he spoke at the Texas GOP convention. I don't think anyone who saw that speech had any doubt about him, that he is calling us to back the right principles, not a person or a party.

I understand, although I may have it wrong, that he will speak in Iowa on the 16th. If so, maybe one of our delegates will find a chance to speak to him.

Am I the only one that recognizes the sheer irony of this reoccurring sentiment when exposure isn't as high as possible?

In case you missed it, the irony is that most of us greatly dislike the entitlement system, and how it destroys motive and our culture. Yet, some act entitled to Ron's responses on every tiny gap in the mix.

Quit bashing him and run for office if you think you know better.

Amen

We owe Ron our gratitude, he really owes us nada. I believe he is quiet now because it does the cause good in the long term. I think he will be a speaker at the GOP convention in Tampa... we shall see.

Need you in the other Rand/Jack Hunter bashing thread. + rep

Bump. Nothing else matters.

In this context chaos destroys motive I suggest.

I'm not demanding an "entitlement" (to use your over-stretched analogy) I'm asking the leader to step in and do his job, to be blunt.

In most cases I would agree with you- people on this site demand way too much of Dr. Paul. But I feel like this is a fair request, given the time, money, and energy his supporters have invested. It is reasonable for people to ask for a statement from Paul himself on the subject.

Exactly. There's far more to the discontent out there than just Rand's announcement. And the Paul's seem to be taken all of their supporters for granted by never effectively communicating and doing everything from the shadows. People have donated a lot of time and money to Ron, and judging by everything I've seen, much (if not all) of the last few months has been about building up Rand. People naturally resent the assumption that our support is transferable. Rand needs to earn his own way. And Ron either needs to get back in the game or just drop out already so as to save the national delegates the time and money.

But there might be things he is trying NOT to say for tactical reasons.

I do have faith in RON that can easily last through Tampa.

Now hold up a bit here. If you've donated your money to a campaign that "hasn't quit" you should know what the campaign is up to. Now when and how he wants to deliver said message is his choice. However, with the obvious upset apple cart I think sooner would be better then later. While speaking out both sides of my mouth I think waiting for the storm to quite a bit isn't the worst stratagy either. Esspecially if he knows what Rand got in exchange for the nod.

Oh and I thought it was quite irronic that I got a donate to the C4L email request a couple hours before the announcment. I very very very rarley listen to Hanity but for some reason had it on when he said he was going to have Rand on for a big annoucement.

I don't plan on donating anymore money until I know where C4L stands.

I expect RON Paul will be leading C4L once the legal path is no longer blocked. I hope I am not disappointed.

It would be interesting - some people have never known Ron Paul as a civilian, and those who have, it's been a long time.
