Oklahoma Caucus is tonight!

I had much better turnout at my meeting than i expected. 6 people including myself!

I was elected precinct chairman as well as a delegate to the Tulsa County convention.

The results of my straw poll was: 6 votes for Ron Paul

:)

THATS AWESOME MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got back from my precinct meeting.... me and one other lady. :)

I'm now the precinct chairman, and a delegate to the Cleveland county convention.

I know there were at least 2 other precinct chairs that were RP supporters, one had a RP revolution shirt on, the other guy was very friendly.

There was no straw vote though... maybe we should have had one? I'll see if we can't have one for the county convention.

House District 92, didn't have a meeting but joined neighboring distict 93's precinct meeting... 18 in attendance or so...

There was never a straw poll as far as I know. In my precint my girlfriend and I became delegates for our precinct (only 2 ppl from our precinct to show) and a friend who came along and signed up to be a delegate as well (only to show from his precinct also).

I talked to another Ron Paul supporter there and his table had 3 supporters 1 of which is running for local office in our district, and 3 supporters at my table. So we had 6/18 so not bad. I saw one Mitt supporter who passed out stickers to fellow Mitt supporters (about 4 or 5 in total). I saw no one or heard anything about any other candidates.

Thats the report from Precinct 518, House District 92.

I think the "straw poll" part is optional depending on the county. It was not a "named form" like the others which were official OK GOP. I know Garfield county did a straw poll too.

Hey everyone! My husband and I just got back from our precinct meetings. We have 5 delegates from our precinct and 4 of those are now filled with Ron Paul supporters! All the other precincts in our county met at the same time. The Ron Paul support was great! We took a straw poll and Ron Paul won! Support for Ron Paul is strong in the Le Flore County GOP!

plh - great work!

Someone has got to be back from the big tulsa meeting they had on memorialst, how di dthat one go????

so how does this work? we seem to be racking up in the people department, but what does it mean in the long run?

Delegates is what matters. I would like to see the numbers but it looks like OK was good for RP.

I lived in Oklahoma for 36 years, moved to Texas 4 years ago. I miss Lake Texoma, the Red River and most of all my grandkids living next door. Oklahoma is a beautiful state with a lot of wonderful people and Native American casinos out the wazoo.

Ron Paul came in 2nd in the 14 districts representing most of the North Oklahoma City/Edmond area. Ron Paul got 10, Mitt Romney got 12. 3rd place got 5 or something.

When they read the results, the room gasped! Ha ha!

no one lives there

It's ranked 28th in the U.S. for population... not all that bad.

For those curious what these results mean: Probably nothing -- unless we have a brokered convention. Oklahoma still holds its primary on super tuesday, this is just the delegate selections.

so when do u think we will find out the final results from tonight? think the news will talk about them?
