Oklahoma Caucus is tonight!

Just getting ready to head around the corner to ours. It's at a residence, not sure what to expect.

Wow! Nice! Don't forget we absolutely HAVE to win 5 states to be a candidate in the brokered convention, though.

Arguably, I'd say there already has been.

Moving a location or two at the last minute, for example (or so I've been told).

Also, there's no easy way to find out where your precinct meeting is located without emailing or calling someone to find out. Obviously not posting the meeting time or places lowers the level of participation. It has also been causing some confusion.

There was some of this confusion. The Tulsa GOP did switch a location at the last minute (due to us flooding them with participants).

We have people posted to redirect and give information if needed.

We did get screwed with (a little) but think we are dealing with it ok.

We saw what happened in LA and are doing our best to make sure it does not happen here.

Also,

The Caucus here in Tulsa will have a straw poll which we should know the results of tonight. I'll let you all know how we come out. :-)

And we live up to our advertising theme... viral. Only we are learning and adapting as we go...

Stick it to 'em, and beat them at their own GOP game.

And if they try anything at all, just dig up their personal information and let us ALL know. We can flood their inboxes and voicemails for weeks, like we did with the FOX big wig. Show them that people are watching and that we CARE, and it'll send a message not to F*** with us. Post their pics around OK and let Paul-supporting business owners know to BOLO them and refuse business, and to let them know why.

Matter of fact, let's get this going on the Louisiana caucus, too.

we just got back from ours (NOT the big one) where Ron Paul won!
12 people at a nearby house we were allowed 17 delegates and I believe all 12 of us signed up. I know the 4 RP supporters there did. The rest of the folks there were very fractured
4 Paul
3 Huck
2 McCain
1 Romney
1 Rudy (she admitted she didn't know who she wanted)
1 Thompson ( I think he was joking around)

I should add, we had very nice hosts - long time GOP party members. He ran for mayor a few years back and has a morning talk show on am radio here. I'll have to start listening.

We don't smoke Marijuana in Muskogee...... We do in Oregon though.....cough...cough...cough.

I had much better turnout at my meeting than i expected. 6 people including myself!

I was elected precinct chairman as well as a delegate to the Tulsa County convention.

The results of my straw poll was: 6 votes for Ron Paul

:)

haha nice 100%

One other good thing our hosts brought up (since we seem to be doing so well in the Tulsa area). Hopefully I recall this all correctly. The state convention will be in Tulsa for the first time in many years. He said that typically it's in Oklahoma City, and only half the 500 or so district delegates from the tulsa part of the state are able to go. If we really turn out to be as strong in Tulsa as it seems I think this could work in our favor when we try to get pro-ron paul delegates sent to the national convention.

They did say something about the national delegates being "selected" making it sound like it wasn't a pure delegates voting for national delegates type scenario. I need to look into that more.

From what I've heard, there really is no such thing as a "pre-selected" delegate... just "incumbents" who can be replaced if the vote is right...

I may be wrong though.
