I disagree. I can't support Obama myself, but I know a lot of people who support him. I encourage them to vote 3rd party for Nader, and they all like Ron Paul, but I honestly haven't seen any signs that Obama means to do any harm. I could be wrong, but I agree with the people here who are saying that Obama is "smarter" than McCain. McCain is a moron. I think Obama can make his own decisions and I think he will try to make good decisions regarding our foreign policy despite the similarities in ideology.
Also, while it is extremely inefficient to redistribute wealth to the extremely wealthy and wipe out the middle class and the poor and put them out of a job, then redistribute that wealth back to those who need it most, to take the last step out of that hurtful equation is even more hurtful to humanity as a whole. Until we get a real liberty candidate, we need to continue to continue the welfare system, I have even heard Ron Paul state this, believe it or not.

a mcinsane win is to disgusting to even contemplate. i find him and that cocktail waitress/alaska govener so vile i felt i had no choice. i was going to vote nader but changed my mind at the last minute. i will continue to support and donate my time, energy and money to ron paul candidates and spread the ron paul mantra but i am clinging to the tiny shread of hope that obama might withdraw from iraq and not go along with the war inc! i have a son in the military and know he is nothing more then cannon fodder to mcnutts and his floozy running mate.

No need for that kind of talk, but I think it's sad that people will vote to lose a hand (Obama) or lose a foot (McCain), when they KNOW that they will lose a limb regardless.
It really breaks my heart to see a lot of people who actually understand what's happening breaking down and voting for what they see as the lesser of two evils. I've always been a classic liberal, or conservative by modern standards, at heart (not that I always knew it), but for years I too voted for the lesser of two evils here in Sweden, thinking I was doing the right thing.
Well, that's over now, and that is the main thing that I have Dr. Paul to thank for. Well, there's that and then there's truly understanding that I have no right to impose my will on others. My understanding of that may have been a little iffy before, but I get it now.

Yep, it's your right to write it, and it's my right to write that I think it's uncalled for. If you're gonna get anywhere, denouncing even a potential ally like that is counter-productive. I don't agree with what OP did, but it's better to point that out in a nice way than just "screaming" at him or her. If you have anger to vent (I know I do), vent it at the actual enemy.

He even reached out to me, and promised to keep me warm and happy and protected. He was ready to cure all my pain and all my ills. Who would not want to the ONE to take care of you and your family and your dreams?
Obama is no idiot. Fear him more because his machine is much more powerful than you think. When he convinces the masses that he is the cure for all your woes, you should realize his brilliance and understand he is a much greater threat than you can imagine. That is why I understood why some "strategically" voted not "for Mccain" but to STOP, the ONE from obtaining power. I contemplated it several times myself, but couldn't do it, I had to vote my conscience.
Emotion sometimes outweighs logic. I don't agree with this voters decision, but don't underestimate the machine that is OBAMA. People truly believe, he is THE ONE. It is awful, but BRILLIANT.
