ok...i voted for obama and so did my husband

You've just voted for all of this. Please don't complain if Obama's administration brings our country into a dismal collapse.

Yes, this is why I feel people who make an intellectual decision not to vote have more of a right to complain than the voters. The non-voters had no part in electing Bush, and therefore can complain. You know?

I hold equal disregard for McBama voters.

My disdain is equal opportunity.

What the fuck's the point if everybody goes wobbly at the wire?

And what does that portend for the future, when all of you will REALLY have to take a stand for freedom, if you can't hold your fucking ground in a goddamn voting booth for christ's sake?

FFS I hope you people aren't on my right flank or my six when the shit really hits the fan.:mad::mad:
Thank you
If you voted for Mcbama, I will hold you personally accountable for the lives lost under their administration.

ok....but at least obama is smart....

Some of the worst people this world has ever known have also been the smartest. I would rather vote in a good man of average intelligence than a genius magalomaniac.

We can argue until next year about how voting this or that way is moar proper, but until people realize that your vote don't mean crap then i think you all are missing the bigger picture. What we got ourselves here is an illusion of a choice... it's like trying to drive a car that just blew out a tire: sure you can keep driving it and pretend like your'e getting somewhere (and you might for a short while), but sooner or later that suckers' gonna break down and you'll have to re-evaluate the situation.

In my mind an intelligent president is no novelty. We had one of those (Jimmy Carter), and he was arguably on of the worst preidents in the last 40-50 years.

Very intelligent, but couldn't make the right choice to save his life. Nice guy too, but terrible president.

Painter4Ron Paul,

change your name. You are a traitor and no better than them. Way to fold under the pressure. ASSHOLE!!

I'm surprised the reaction here is so vile. I may not agree with the OP's strategy but it's absurd to say she is a "traitor" and as bad as the "others".

An Obama win will propel this country into a much needed cleansing. I just hope it isn't cleansed with innocent blood.

My guess is that on Wednesday, Republicans are going to be left with their cheeks red and stinging.

Hopefully, they will stop pandering to the religious right, and focus on the Constitution.

Focusing on the Constitution would be a great thing for Republicans to embrace, but honestly, pandering to the religious right isn't really the problem. McCain and the neoconservatives tried pandering to the same groups that Democrats completely own rather than rallying their base. That is the problem. You can't outliberal and outpander the Democrats for votes. The good thing about this election is that maybe, finally, neoconservatives will be purged from the GOP because they're killing the party. The Democratic party has room for Trotskyites and Marxists, but they're death for the GOP.
