OK. So i mentioned before that I have begun holding my large yard sign out on East Blvd for the last couple of weeks. I have been met with some great enthusiasm along the way too! I have more recently been going to the Central campus of CPCC and Queens University.
I want to ask each of you to do this kind of thing as well - even if it is for only half an hour. Our days are getting longer and its getting warmer (if not windier) in the area. Get out to a favorite corner near your home and just hold a sign for a while - or join me in these locations. I usually get a little restless and walk a neighborhood after a while and drop slim jims too. Its fun and people are seeing his name. Some people believe he is not in this race anymore. The more of us do this kind of thing, the more that lie can be thwarted. Literally hundreds of cars pass by me in 1 hour each time and I get a lot of honks and thumbs up.
Also, every time you go to the gas pump, have some slims in your back pocket and tell the person next to you something like, "if you are interested in supporting a candidate who understands why we are paying these outrageous prices, then please go to You Tube and look this man up!" I like to follow up with, "please tell your neighbor".
Guys, each time I go out, I am met with a very good response and it is energizing! Please come join me in this effort to get RP's name out there. That way, when yard signs start showing up in greater numbers leading up to May, that will not be the first time people see it. Ya know?
