Albemarle NC Stanly County. The local GOP isn't publishing when the precinct meetings are being held. Not sure if they haven't made the decision or not. No contact back from there either after several emails and phone calls. Going to visit their office as a next step.

Who is near Stanley County who can go to the local GOP with this fine patriot? Two people open more doors than one. Help Albermarle secure the date for his precinct Delegation. It won't take long, and you get a look into the machine. It'll help everyone involved. 8-)
 
I noticed on the precinct leader Flash widget on the ronpaul2008 web site that 459 people have signed up to be precinct leaders in NC. It says that's 15% .. ?

my 2 cents.. we need to do things like getting meetups to fund PACs to start advertising on local cable TV, dropping newspapers, getting billboards up, etc.. now so that when the pollsters start calling people know who Paul is. People aren't going to find out about him from the media and if the pollsters can show 4-6% support in NC then we'll have a huge uphill battle and probably never overcome it. We have about 90 days until the primary and most people will make their minds up long before then. If we don't get the ads out there in the next 2 weeks or so then it'll be too late.

If those 459 people organized and each threw a house party (as described on the ronpaul2008 site) and raised a few hundred bucks each then we could provide TV ads on cable TV in cities throughout the state for quite a while. Ads run about $4 - $5 each... if someone can set up a PAC I can set up a web site.
 
Charlotte's online. Franklin County/Raleigh is online. Albermarle County is online. Who all we got?

I've already met with the other precinct leader here. We're both working on it. Our GOP chairman is running for the State house. Paul is not on the website.

Wow, that's pretty ugly. you want a dozen or so of us to go up with you? :D Bring 50 people or so, and ask if they need a petition to list RP on their website. Bring the same 50 to vote you in as a delegate. That would do it, if you could do it.
 
I'm currently in Iredell county, but might be moving shortly. Until then I can't join the local GOP until I settle down in my new place.
 
I know Garland is out there. 8-) I have to stay through the tenth, I may have a chance at a hearing with Dr Paul in Texas. I would like to discuss our strategy to win North Carolina, and to get his advice. And let him know that I am into the congress project.

they are required by GoP rules to publish the date in the newspaper at least 10 days prior to the precinct meeting.

Yea id visit their office, you might want to appear "uncommitted" since the GoP is coordinating to prevent the true conservative candidate from being elected. but thats your choice of course.

Very cool! I am trying to put together a 16 page "Ron Paul Graphic Novel" platform paper for distribution on the canvass and in lit-piles.

Now is the perfect time to start with banners. "Ron Paul will Save our Nation" and so on.

Put people in mind to start looking for him. Signs will come, lit will come. Start 'touching' people and collecting volunteers. It's amazing how our best volunteers come from people who have just awakened.

Talk to people in restaurants, coffee shops, pool halls. Find out where they are at first, and then speak to Dr Paul's platform from where they are.

People in Alabama are still waking up like sparks touching dry grass. We just awakened two people today. The day after our 3% showing I was wearing my Ron Paul Revolution shirt out and about. People still wanted to know, and upon knowing, awakened. It was simply a question of manpower.

So we have more time in North Carolina. we have to start making people want to know more.
 
Im in Wayne County (Precinct 07) and have touched base with 2 other Precinct leaders in Wayne (Precinct 06 & 26). We are trying to get organized. I will be attending our local GOP meeting next week, and will also be canvassing the area trying to drum up support for the county convention March 15th. I will be attempting to get my Precinct Chair position along with some delegates.

Here in Wayne, we have the F-15E training base Seymour Johnson, so there is a lot of absentee voters mixed in with county voters.

Right on! Amongst members of the military, strict constitutionalism is huge, as well as the second amendment, the "Veterans Disarmament Act," stop-loss (The backdoor draft), the multiplicity of combat tours, and the unconstitutionality of fighting undeclared wars.
