Call me what you will, we will NOT win this nomination and deep down, you ALL know it.

Even if you don't think he has a chance at 3rd party, it would still be better than what we are going through now.

It would also allow Paul to stay in the game longer thus gaining more support/more people hearing his message.

I think there is still 75% of Americans that haven't heard his message yet. If we extend his campain by running 3rd party, it will increase the size of our revolution.

You say that 3rd party candidates don't get MSM coverage... so what would be the difference exackly?!?

I dunno guys, I think every state is going to end pretty much the same way.

We need a plan B.

How many agree?

Only 2 percent of the delegates have been awarded...don't give up just quite yet.

I would not support Ron Paul in a decision to run on a third party ticket should he not receive the Republican nomination.

No, please don't encourage this. If he fails to beat the other republicans in the primaries, how is he going to beat them in a general election? He won't pick up many democrat voters because they'll be going with their candidate.

Get the fuck out of here with that king of bullshit.

2% of the country has voted.

After super tuesday. Leave it at that.

We have to spend some big money before super tuesday.

Will you guys quit with the 3rd party thing. It is not an option. If he is only getting ten percent of the vote now, as a third party candidate he would be lucky to get even that.

I think Ron's chances are poor at the moment, but he needs to stay in at least until Feb. 5. I think a 3rd party run would be a waste of time and a mistake.

Yes but are you really willing to give up in a month? This has to be plan B if Plan A fails Super Tuesday.

I don't think Ron Paul should run 3rd Party because he said he had no interest in doing it and I'd like for him to hold to his word. Although if he ran 3rd party I would probably vote for him.

Man, the neo-cons would hate him even more for "stealing votes" and allowing a Democrat to win the Presidency. I know several neo-cons in my church who aren't in love with Paul (and I can't yet persuade them to vote for him) but they definitely fear him running 3rd Party because they "don't want a Democrat in Power." I kind of hate to tell them, "oh, don't worry...he doesn't plan to" but then I don't want to say, "he says he won't but he's probably just saying that to keep from allowing a defeatist mentality to take over his supporters."

Of course, this could become my new ammunition to try and enlarge Paul support. "You don't want Ron Paul to become a third party candidate, do you? You better make sure he gets the GOP nomination!"

Third party costs hundreds of millions.

True but the money will come in boat loads if Hillary and Mccain win the nomination. Most of Obama's supporters will flock to us.

Plus the media will have to consider him as a viable candidate since hes in double digits in the primaries. This means plenty of air time when its down to just three candidates.

AND you have to remember Ron Paul has had one hell of good head start unlike the past 3rd party candidates. How many got to debate on the stage with republicans?

Ron Paul is in this till next year no matter what.

Need to edit the Poll to run third party IF no Republican nomination, I cant vote on it like it is.

Yes, it would shoot his credibility since he's repeatedly said he has no intention of running 3rd party.

He would gain credibility if he did this under the black cloud of a brokered convention or if he were to be excluded from more debates.

Somebody will probably jump all over me for saying this, but what if Romney went with him? On the one hand the media would castrate them for the flip-flop, but on the other hand the headlines would be non-stop, there would be no black out. In the heart of a recession and up against a Huckabee/McCain (or swapped) they might have a real chance.
