OHIO needs help NOW!

I have to read all of this tomorrow, but I live in Medina Ohio and have no clue what is going on with this....I am 16th district...there is no district captain yet, and who are the delegates? what do I sign where? are there delegates...where is this information at?

Obviously, I am NOT smarter than a 5th grader, someone explain where the info is for my specific district....16th district. I need a place where people in my specific district are communicating......point me to it please.

your delegates are: sharon parrish, james hixon, douglas beltowski

here is a form you can print out to get signatures: http://www.ohio4ronpaul.com/petitions/CD16.PDF

you cannot cross county lines. if your gonna get signatures from medina county, then that entire sheet has to have signatures from medina county. Its best to have 2 copies with ya just in case you may run into someone from .... lets say from stark county

i urge you to join a meetup group! here is a list by your area:

+1 . I got 200 petitions signed in VA, but because of him clarifying something wrong they were all invalid. Sometimes I wonder if they actually want to win this thing.

Ohio, you are doing great! Hang in there.

If we win it will be because of the grassroots DESPITE some of the official campaign staff. Thank goodness for this forum!

I don't know about that, but the petitions are formatted in legal size paper on the pdf.'s
Wait a minute... was that a statement or a question? Man it's getting late :)

More of a caution. There is (was) a law specifying even the thickness of the paper and petitions have been invalidated for being too thin, literally.

Just to clarify (I know this gets confusing), you CAN cross county lines but not on the same petition. Keep ALL of the petitions separate BY COUNTY because the signatures and petitions will be verified by each county's board of elections. (gratuitous bump)

GOTV--difference between winning or not

For everyone canvassing for ballot petition signatures, please, please, please make it part of the Get Out The Vote project.

Keep track of all of the information you get from voters. Update info (wrong address). Which candidate are they supporting? (Tancredo, follow up NOW!). What issues are important to them (follow up with appropriate material). Ron Paul supporter? PUT THEM ON THE LIST OF IDENTIFIED SUPPORTERS, GET THEM AN ABSENTEE BALLOT IF NECESSARY, MAKE SURE THEY TURN OUT TO VOTE (PLEA BARGAIN ON THE KIDNAPPING CHARGES LATER ;)).

should call, write and email Anson Chi because his site gives out false information

http://www3.webng.com/ronpaul/delegatestates.html
"It starts at your precinct, then county, then state and finally the RNC [which, as anyone reading this thread can see, is incorrect. There is no precinct nor county process.]

"Next, contact your County GOP organization (step C below) and ask for information on how you can become a delegate to the GOP Conventions and for the rules for all the conventions (especially precinct convention)."

Every Ohioan following the advice on his site is being misled. There are no GOP conventions of any kind in Ohio having anything to do with delegates.

His Ohio specific information reads "Page not found."

You typically start at your precinct (district) convention as a delegate and work your way up to state, and finally, the RNC; But it may even be as easy as calling your Secretary of State Elections Division, signing some forms and getting signatures! Ron Paul supporters will walk through rain, snow, ice, fire, hazardous waste for this revolution so performing the aforementioned will be a cakewalk.

It typically NOT definitely. Also, it says it can be as easy as just getting signatures. That it's different for every state!

This is an Ohio specific thread. I quote from Anson's site showing the wrong information and provide a link.

No, most states do not "typically" follow the process outlined on Anson's site that is misleading everyone who goes there.

Please keep in mind that rules vary between states.

It also says you may just have to get signatures. In other words, it's not the same process for everyone.

Hocking County Signatures

If anyone is in Hocking County I have a petition started and could use your signature. Let me know who you are and I can come to you. Everyone in ohio who is a registered republican needs to print off the petition and get as many signatures as you can. Even if it is only 5 signatures, every one we get can help.

If you go to the site, it doesn't even have an Ohio delegate process! It only has Ohio county contact info! You can't be wrong about that! hhahaa

Read what the site says:

NOTE: Please keep in mind that rules vary between states.
