OHIO needs help NOW!

Guys, there is a sh&t ton of conflicting information about who can sign what petitions. WE need to get this story straight once and for all.

The info I have is that for delegate and alternate petitions, the circulator can only have people sign that live in the same COUNTY as the petition circulator. Furthermore, only registered independents and republicans can sign. NO DEMOCRATS. They are democrat if the voted previously in the democratic primaries in '04 and '06.

I get this from the State coordinator.

BradInDC, does this jibe with you?

I live in District 2 and think we have this one covered. I'm going out tomorrow to collect.

Also, Greenskin, check your PM box and email me back to coordinate on some future activities since I think you live in District 2 also. It will be difficult around here but I want to rEVOLutionize district 2.

registered republican signatures are preferred. independents are second. no registered democrats allowed.

the information i have from the state coordinator, directly on a phone conversation, is that the signer must be from the district but the petition circulator does not need to be.

I'm in the fightin' 12th. I'll gather up some friends and family (all are registered repubs) and make them all go to the ammo store in New Albany on Saturday to sign the petition.

how is it that ron paul has difficulty securing ballot access when there's like 20 people on the ballot anyways?

It makes no sense to me...

Ok, I don’t know if this is been asked before but here I go, Why is it on the grassroots to get Ron Paul on the ballot. Making sure the guy that were dumping millions to is actually an option to vote for sounds like it should be the job of the official campaign headquarters. I mean if that’s not part of their job then what is? The campaign has raised 18million this quarter, they cant hire a bunch of people to collect signatures? It angers me, am I the only one that feels this way?

Good job guys, I think its unsafe to put any confidence in the official campaign now. They just have screwed up way to many times. I hate to say this too as I once defended them for hours and hours when they were coming under harsh criticism on youtube.

well from what ive read... the campaign is well aware that ron paul can be on the ballot without signatures. They want us to go out and petition to get new potential voters... I think its silly, but I have to agree with them here. This is a good way to spread the good doctors message

Bump. I live in Toledo Ohio I have to get my meetup on the ball with this. Instead of Tea Party fun we should have been collecting names.

Damn I hate dropping the ball.
