This seems to be a pretty good test. It is fairly accurate to what I am actually getting.
I have tried some that gave inaccurate results.

real life speed is another story. Probably about 200 kb/s steady when downloading something. Then again, i doubt every server is as fast as these.

Really, unless your are transferring something big, low latency is more noticeable than high bandwidth.

It depends on the Server you connect to. Inside Korea...We have arguable the fastest Internet in the world.

I have downloaded a 700MB ISO from a server from a university here within Korea in less then three minutes before. I thought that was fairly fast.
